This is my paying homage to Grandma. After hearing that Grandma had passed, I received that my great aunt passed today. My heart is so heavy right now and being so far away from loved ones and their families is the worst feeling ever. I never had the opportunity to meet any of my grandparents on either my maternal or paternal side. Grandma was my grandma and she will be sorely missed. Grandma left a legacy and inheritance that will be passed down to future generations. Grandma is sitting at the head of the table in this picture as she rightfully should. Love one another generously without reservation. Life is short. We know that death is sure. I for one still am not used to the thought of it. What I know for sure is God is faithful. What I know for sure is Grandma loved and lived a full life. Until we meet again. #fortheloveofgrandma

My sweet aunt Sharon sent this picture to me. Aunt Sharon was getting married to my uncle Jan. my mother is the one in the middle. Y'all can tell where I get my height from 😂 lol. I'm blessed to have friends who have become family. It's rare these days to have that kind of friendship. Life happens and the connection that once was there dissipates to non-existant. I was just thinking about just the word FRIENDSHIP and what it really means. It has a different meaning to different people. I've gained friends along my journey called life and I've lost friends. Whether the losing was intentional or unintentional the loss part is never easy for me at all. I'm one of those people that holds friendship near and dear to my heart. I take this thing called friendship personally. I think I hold it in such high esteem simply because I don't have many friends. In the wake of all the tragedies that are taking place in my second home America I've been feeling lonely. This little birdie, beauty and sister from another mother thought of me and sent me this beautiful picture. Dancing is my heart and this picture just gave me so much hope.
