Oulanka research station is located in the middle of the Oulanka National Park, in North-East Finland. In winter, the landscape is just like in the movies: Snow, frozen lakes, and iced trees.
Rainy Islands Brygge right before the danish winter.

Goodbye Paris. Thanks for these months, but now I must move forward; come back home. I will remember the morning walks. See you, maybe.

Tiānmén Shān is a mountain located near Zhangjiajie City. Up in the mountain one can see Tianmen cave, a natural hole in the mountain of a height of 131.5 metres. In order to get there the easiest (and most awesome) way is to take the "longest passenger cableway of high mountains in the world", with 98 cars and a total length of 7,455 metres. The pictures speak by themselves… Just such an incredible place!

Zhangjiajie is a small city located in the province of Hunan, in the south of China. A former farming city, Zhangjiajie is now being exposed to a massive tourism - due to its amazing natural landscapes -, and to a process of fast industrialization - given the position of China in the global market. Since the real state bubble I saw in Spain as a teenager, I have not seen a place growing as fast as this; making very visible the contrast between the lifestyle of a great deal of the population and the prospection the Chinese government has for this area.
Here everybody works. And works hard, no matter the gender, the age or even the condition.

Notre Dame might just be one of the most famous cathedrals in the world. While the inside is impressive, it is from the top of it where one can have a taste of how grandiose it actually is. Up there one can sit next to Notre Dame’s gargoyles; those dark, sinister guardians that impassively contemplate Paris from above, and image how history has passed by their eyes. Especially on a grey, rainy day, the gargoyles seem to come to life remanding visitors that they were put there for a reason.
