1st Lt. Royal Navy Arriving

“How do I view this war? Its more hell than when I was fighting the IJN, and ever more frustrating when you learn each ship used to be one of your own. It’s like fighting your siblings.” Sealion sighed turning the radio to a slow Cab Calloway song. It was a nice enough day and there was no rush to get to the Administration building right away.
“I can’t speak for others but I seek no glory, hell when I was told I was gonna be given the navy cross for WWII I was ready to turn it down. I couldn’t naturally since it meant big PR for the navy and support from the public. We need to stop treating this like a competition, and work to take out tangible targets and take down the abyssal strong holds.” Sealion said taking a deep breath, and apologized for his rambling.
“Ma’am I may only be an S1c but I am still an old sailor, but please listen…Tell the admiral the old days are over, there is no room for would-be heroism and certainly no room for any Doolittle Raids!” Just thinking about it irked him, the attack wasted resources and lives and didn’t do much to Japan other than prove a point. Usually he was rather quiet but when given the topic it hits him hard, as it would any ship that served during WWII on both sides.
At Sealion's words, Rosette's face blossomed brightly with delight, a fire burning within her eyes. "I am thankful you see it that way, Mister Sealion. No matter those I have run into, they all believe the Abyssals to be nothing but a menace. However, even if we have to fight them, I rather believe in a peaceful solution. Yes, with war, it can't be helped but to fight." Rosette clenched her pant legs, staring hard at the fabric of her gloves.
"If I can prove the horrors of this war and what it does to the people and the poor ships who have to fight so relentlessly, I want this to end as peacefully as possible, with no more deaths."
That didn't go as planned. After they had gotten to the Admiral's office, Rosette was only in there a short time before being shouted to leave before she would be forcibly removed. Rosette came out in a huff, gripping her hat to try and contain her annoyance.
"That old man refused to listen! Said I was nothing but a young girl too naive for war!" Rosette ground her teeth, head reeling.
