I'm saddened I have to even do this, but I'm not interested in hiring ANYONE for any sort of commissioned pieces. I make all my own art.
If I want to buy art I'll find you. Don't find me. I'm just as broke as anyone likely reading this.

Title: untitled
I look up, from where I rest
Beneath a tree.
I close my eyes
And watch mottled light
Dance behind my eyelids
As the sun flows through
The leaves, down to me,
Like a river to the sea.
I sense the gentle heat
Tap dancing across
My smiling lips.
I think of you and then it happens.
Every color, even those
Unknown to summer,
Bubble and bob in my vision.
I need you to be here to see this...
Title: untitled
Please be gentle
Be more gentle than I
For I seem unable
To keep my head dry
My heart skips
My eyes leak
A minute with you
Leaves me weak
If you want to
Share with me your days
I'll share with you
Each of the suns rays
Let's spin until
We're dizzy and lost
And commit to love
No matter the cost
I have my palms
Up and open, waiting
To feel your touch
On my skin, skating
For I seem unable
To keep my head dry
Please be gentle
Be more gentle than I.

Who will dig
The grave diggers
Final resting place?
Ahoo
Who will cure
The doctor's
Trembling hands?
Ahoo
Who will save
The begotten
From Gods grace?
Ahoo
Who will clean
The slate
With blood and sweat?
Ahoo

If I only had
One breath left
I'd use it
To call your name.
This ship -
May sink deep.
Blame hunger, or,
Its belly of lead.
The journey
Is the message -
The destination
A lucky mistake.
I have
Too much love;
No time
Given to chase.
With only
One breath left -
I'm using it
To call you to my side.
Title: untitled
I want to taste
The dew,
The cold night air
Coalescing
Upon your lips.
I want to see
The morning,
Reflected back
To me
In your eyes.
I want to hold
The world at bay,
Locked, naked,
Fighting the dawn -
In each other's arms.

Water won't wash away blood
And the sun won't warm her
The moments just blend together
She won't be coming home
You tried to save her
But fate is a raging river
That you can't fight
In time everyone drowns
Water won't wash away blood

There is no sunset
On those bathed in red,
There is no sunrise
On those clothed in white.
Praise the flesh
Stretch yourself thin,
Trace it with your
Wagging tongue.
A storm upon the horizon
Each raindrop
A devout prayer,
That you be gentle to us
When you break
Upon our yearning shore.
Praise the flesh
Stretch yourself thin,
Trace it with your
Wagging tongue.
There is no slumber
For those bathed in red,
There is no stirring
For those clothed in white.
There is no place
I would go without you,
No hell I would refuse
To rot, for us to reunite.

Why can I not have petals?
Why must I remain ignored,
Despite my blossoms
Pleading to be adored?
Why can I not be the pursued?
Why is it I exhaust myself,
Giving others the attention
I so desperately yearn for?
Am I really so crazy,
To want to feel dizzy with
Excitement and joy
When I see you walk through
Our front door?
Practicing lighting, staging, composition, and editing.
Title: untitled
There's no way
To inflict regret,
But I seem
To take what I can get.
I was a mere mote,
A probabilistic event.
I cannot commit,
Despite earnest attempts.
I always prayed
Before I caved and wept,
That this time
I'd have no regrets.
Make me swear,
On my father's grave
That my soul
I'll try to save.
No love this time,
Only regret.
Title: untitled
How did we get here?
I ask myself nearly
Every time I open my eyes
And drink in the world before me.
To think the same sun that
Warms my puffy cheeks
Is the same light that
Illuminates a bird dying far from home.
How did I make it this far?
I ask myself every day
As I roll out of the nest
I have made for myself on my bed.
Title: untitled
I think I cannot decide
What I like best.
There is so much to choose,
And so much more to hate.
I tried being vulnerable,
Opened my chest and exposed
My brittle lungs doing their best.
Who am I?
Who am I?
Who am I?
Who am I?
I cannot hear them calling me back,
Into the fold, where I am safe and small.
How can I learn to give less
Of myself up
When no one asked for me on a plate?
Who am I?
Who am I?
Who am I?
Who am I?
Am I the predators that preyed
Upon my virgin flesh?
Or am I the things
Projected on me,
By those who hate themselves?
Who am I?
Who am I?
Who am I?
Who am I?
Title: untitled
I guess I made myself small,
So that I could fit in your pocket.
So it goes - so they say -
My heart remained too big for me to fit.
If only we had a little more time,
I might find comfort in your absence.
I did not know I could love this much;
Now that you're gone I wish I could forget.
I need to hold onto the pieces that remain,
Despite their edges which cut and burrow.
Nothing to stop me from walking
Into the sun, yet here in shadow I remain.
Title: Traitor Prometheus
He gave us the designs
For the gallows
We would eventually sway from.
Told us fire would
Give our shivering flesh
The warmth it longed for.
But fire comes
In many forms, and has
Many countless names.
The bullet, the bomb,
The gas used to succumb,
All fire in a different costume.
The same morphine
That kills the pain of war,
Will wage war against the soul.
Fire comes often as a comfort:
Leaves soaked in blood and soot,
Beneath it's beguiling eyes.
Title: Socratic Dialogue to Brimstone
Ah, I see
They've restrained you
So sorry, formalities
But you're such a danger
A threat to yourself
A menace to society
A black dog on a wedding day
A spider that refuses to trap
Not too tight,
I take it then?
Many feel a sense of comfort
In relinquishing control.
A dose too large
A venom too quick
A shadow dancing in the sun
A noose too long
An egg of hope
Cracked by stony fingers
As the yolk of dreams
Slides off the platter to the earth
I think I might like to know you
I think I might like to be destroyed by you
I think I might like to become one with you
I think I might like to love another
As I love myself
The gloved hand
Velvet and white
Four digits on each
With a thumb apiece
The first caress
On salted cheeks
Wiping away
The things I want to be
There is blood on the walls
And between the floorboards
Seeping through,
To the elderly woman living beneath me
I no longer have fear,
With regards to me
Instead I abhor
All that cut off pieces of me
They ate of my body
Drank from my dreams
Bathed in my sweat
Clothed in shapes of me
In the morning I'll be free
Somewhere that I'll never find me
A piece here, a limb there
Darkness of soil, hiding history
Who am I here?
Predator?
Prey?
Devil's advocate doing the devil's work?
The stone, unmoved, replied,
"Fire is the trial,
Soot the verdict."
Title: untitled
I have fallen, once more.
From the shade, underneath a willow
I turn my face towards the sun;
When a familiar warmth
Runs its course down
My sallow and sunken cheeks.
These tears bear a lifetime of memories,
So, easily they flow.
Every kiss stolen,
Each bruise,
All the hungers left unsatiated,
My thirsts that made greed blush,
Carried by each salted drop.
A world revealed, only to be hidden
Behind garden walls and honeysuckle.
An easy paradise, for a difficult cost.
All one must do is give their light
To the machinations of the dark,
How can I part with
The only thing that was ever mine,
My sacral heart?
So here I watch,
The setting of the sun.
No more tears, the time has come
To carry on.
And so, this golem rises back
To its unsteady feet.
What magic awaits in water and earth,
That can transform the shattered
And bring the disparate whole.
Once more, towards the horizon
Until my shadows fall behind me,
And ruin begins anew.
