plot: old friends reunite, muse a talks about how hard she works just so she can road trip and never be in their home town again. muse b says he has a car and a full bank account.

Waitressing at a local strip club — one of her three jobs to keep up her jar for traveling, having to wear slightly skimpy clothes but not stepping a foot on the stage. She was desperate, but she didn’t have enough confidence for that. The fawn colored girl ran some fingers through her hair as she was about to finish off her shift before she was waved over by a bachelor party. She sighed, but knew that it would be good tips so instead of clocking out she grabbed her notebook from her waist and headed over. The first eyes she landed on had her stumble slightly, remembering tree houses and candy that made their teeth hurt, one of the friend’s that she had kept through high school but now haven’t seen in years. “Uh — hi, hey, I’m ‘Mani and I’ll be your server,” She tried to keep her eyes on the male who’d waved her down but they kept shifting back to the person she had known for so long, “what can I get y’all?”

sean was celebrating with his boys, they congratulated him loudly as they began pulling out the bands. his eyes studied the ring on his finger, smiling softly before he sipped his beer. his eyes shot up as he heard someone mention shots, before he could open his mouth to decline jimmi had already managed to get a waitress’ attention. he shook his head with a laugh, sean glanced at the waitress before studying her face intently. a smile came to his face as he waved at her playfully. “we’ll have 10 shots of Tequila, make em all doubles!” sean rolled his eyes jimmi’s rudeness, elbowing him before he spoke. “please.”
