came across this blog by pure chance on my feed and i love every aspect of it, my 25th birthday is this year and i feel like i took my childhood for granted; however, i know that i still have a long way to go and i can always reminisce on the more positive aspects of my childhood through nostalgia 🫶🏾

I’m so glad you found me! I am not much younger than you and I feel the same way. I think most people do. Children do not have a concept of time in the same way adults do. There is no such thing as “taking your childhood for granted” because we did not fully understand it was fleeting. Especially if you were busy surviving like many of us were.

I aim to reminisce on all the bittersweet aspects of nostalgia here. I am honored to have even a tiny part in anyone’s healing journey. You may have a long way to go, but you have already come so far! Everyone is cheering you on!! :D
