Sorry, it’s taken so long. But I finally got around to gathering all the pics from my trip. For those of you who helped my team get there both with prayer and financial support, please enjoy a little sneak peek into the good works you helped produce in Haiti.
I've had this on repeat all morning. Getting hype for Haiti and praying that God uses us in awesome ways. Can't wait to share His love with so many beautiful people. Continued prayers for our team are always greatly appreciated. Can't wait to come back and share some awesome stories with you guys.
Week 4 Update- Three words, PRAISE THE LORD! I can’t even begin to describe how incredibly grateful and blessed I feel to see such an enormous amount of generosity and commitment to God’s mission through the support of others. Whether the help was through, prayer, donations or both-- I am beyond thankful to every single one of you and am proud to be the vessel which is delivering your support, love and dedication to God’s mission in Haiti this summer. I HAVE REACHED THE DEADLINE 3 WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME and I could not have done it without all of your help! Can’t wait to share the fruits of your labor and spirits of giving through blog posts and plenty of pictures before, while and after I am there--I’ll be sure to keep you all updated!!!
Week 3 Update- Hey guys, just wanted to continue to keep you updated and share a couple of deadlines I just received with you all. Since my update last week I'm still at the $550 mark. I just found out today that I have a $1000 goal to meet by June 12th, all of your help and prayer means the world to me! Thank you so much and please keep praying and lending a helping hand towards God's purpose for our team this summer!

Haiti: Round Two
As many of you know I was blessed with an amazing opportunity to go on mission with Hope Community Church to Haiti last summer. With it being the summer of my senior year, I was at a transitioning stage in my life; full of self-discovery and decisions that would create the foundation I would build the rest of my adult-life on. I know now that God chose me to go on that trip not only to help spread love and knowledge of His glorious name, but to give me an understanding of who He is and what His intentions are in this world through each of us as His children. That trip has been such a blessing on my life, and when we arrived back home I quickly discovered that God had placed a new spark of change in my heart. Since then, I have made the conscious decision to intentionally allow God to take the reigns and acknowledged that my time on this Earth is not mine to waste, but His to use.
With open ears I have been walking, and there has been a definite and undeniable call for me to return to the place where God blessed me. Where He gave me such an amazing sense of clarity and a spirit to serve His purpose. I could not have been more excited and ready to go the second I found out that there was an opportunity for me to return. To give back to the island and the people who were so instrumental in spiritual my growth last year.
This summer I have the opportunity to return to Haiti to see how God has moved and blessed Agape church and it’s members since this time last year. Agape is a church with open doors that welcome people where they are and encourages them to grow in their relationship with Jesus. They have been reaching a younger generation through active small groups, Biblical teaching, contemporary and lively worship, modern technology and an effective children’s program. Our team will be going to Haiti to continue to assist and encourage church pastors, staff, leaders and members.
As a part of this team, I must find a way to jump-start this journey for not only myself but for our team as a whole. The total cost for the trip per person is $1800 and the goal deadline we are aiming for is June 20th for each person on our team. In order to reach this goal I’m reaching out to ask for your support, not only financially but also in the strengthening of our purpose through prayer, as we will need it every step of the way. Although our team are the representatives on this trip, we can all make an impact together, every little bit counts. Thank you for helping us move as God’s hands and feet in Haiti this summer.
