Step 1: Stop caring what other people think for its own sake. Step 2: Spend the weekends learning instead of drinking. Step 3: Engage in more rewarding work with new skills. Step 4: Meet someone of the opposite sex who shares your healthy attitude. This often relies heavily on step #1. Step 5: Fulfilling family life, pitying others instead of yourself, realizing that this problem really was all in your head.

Thankful.

I'm one of the lucky ones to have loving parents and family. One of the lucky ones to have some good friends. Lucky to have a job (and a half). Lucky to have things going for me to where I've wanted them to head towards.

I look back and can't believe how quickly things have come. It's a big blur and I don't know what's to come but one thing is for sure, life is good most times. Like Maya Angelou once said, "Love life. Engage in it. Give it all you've got. Love it with a passion because life truly does give back, many times over, what you put into it."

In 20 years, I've learned how to properly use a toilet seat cover.

Here's to 21.
