I hope Parasite winning at the Oscars and kpop becoming more popular every day that goes by will open doors for everyone in the world. I hope it encourages everyone of not english mother tongue in the entertainment industry to work even harder to crash these awards that “represent” the best in the world
It’s after getting into kpop and watching the Mnet ASIAN Music Award that I was like... “ wait... It’s EUROPE Music Awards but It’s mostly just mainstream people nominated and performing” same goes to other awards shows.
(fyi MAMA is mostly just for kpop)
