my first day off work. went for a swim by myself at sunset.

bought a giant inflatable pelican and went for a swim in the sea with my new friends at 1am. we haven’t done that since. took the pelican to the bar that my bosses twin brother works at. i thought they were the same person for about two weeks after this

flew to cyprus.

my first time flying alone. plane was well delayed so i was allowed to peek into the cockpit which was cool. wasn’t that scared or freaked out about moving away which isn’t like me at all. landed quite late.

my first day living in cyprus. i’d landed after midnight so after a morning meeting they left me have the rest of the day off. my friends from home had booked to see me ‘mid contract’ but because my visa took so long to go through, they ended up flying out a day after i arrived. it was nice to have them there. we swam in the sea.
