Over the years, Mina had set foot on different continents, leaving her footprint in more cities than one could imagine. London would always be her favourite, the cosmopolitan city was a place she could truly call home. However, when it comes to nightlife, even the resplendent entertainment scenes in the West End paled in comparison to the upbeat energy of Gangnam. During her brief time in Seoul years ago, she would spend every weekend carousing in this part of the town, jumping from one nightclub to another, had the bustling district’s every nook and cranny figured out like the back of her hand. Son Mina was definitely not a new face to the partygoers in the mayhem haven known as the Lush Night Club.
Occupying her usual spot in the VIP section, Mina surveyed the bass pumping establishment like a Greek deity observing the daft mortals below the Mount Olympus. When she left her room at the Prestige Hotel earlier, she had hopped on the cab to come here with one intention only, and that was to have a damn good time. Much to her chagrin, the club seemed awfully dull tonight. "I'm bored." She declared to the entourage gathering at the booth. "How drunk do we have to be for this place to seem less Walking Dead than it is?" Waving a server over, she told him to bring one more bottle of vodka. After the liquor was poured, Mina raised her shot glass and smirked to the group. "Let's see which one of you can get into the worst trouble tonight. Bottoms up, ladies and gents!"
As the night progressed, more people started to pack into the club and the exhilarating beats pumping from the speaker heat the atmosphere up. And was it heated. The dance floor was crammed with sweaty bodies, there was too much carbon dioxide but not enough oxygen. Mina decided to step out for some fresh air. Not even bothering to go back to get her jacket, she shoved some drunktards out of her way to get through the crowd. When she was finally out of the club's door, she heaved out a breath. Giving the surrounding a quick glance, she noticed she wasn't the only one who had the same idea in mind. There was a girl throwing up with her friends trying to comfort her, a couple making out, then a guy leaning against the wall taking a drag of his cigarette as if his life depended on it. "Hey you," She said to him, "Got a spare one for me?"
Modern Mythology: Eris
“I desire the things that will destroy me in the end.” A modern Eris who has never been anything but teeth and armor, and something terrible beneath her skin, something of steel and flame; she was never meant for the world to love and all who shed blood or tear away at their throat as they shout to the world know the darkness of her eyes, the way they become the color of ashes from pyres lit with her own cigarette as her ruin grows. The curve of her lips call forth the fires of war and her hand that creates the first kill, let it be of the mind or flesh. Her footprints leave only scars and fault lines and the tattered remains of what once was, and the flames spread with the laughter that echos from her person. There is dirt and blood caked on her palms, and liquor on her tongue, and from battlefields to bars to courtrooms, her words fill heads in a whisper, quiet enough to be mistaken as fate or their own dark thoughts and she will make destruction pound through your system until it is the only thing that feels right in this world, the only place you belong, and as the first word is spat through your lips, as knuckles are split, the fire has already been set.

Caught up in his own world, Taehyung didn’t realize who else was in the building. He didn’t know Mina was walking around in the same building as him. If he knew he’d probably leave before she would be able to see him - But lost in his own world, how could he know? The two hadn’t seen each other for years, yet if he saw her he knew his heart would still hurt. He dreaded the day the two would meet again, he just didn’t know that day was today.
When she wasn’t busy working on her blog, styling clients, or mingling at glamorous events, Mina could be found perusing art pieces at galleries around the metropolis for a spark of inspiration. It was ironic. For someone who breathed fire and chaos, she possessed an innate artistic sense. It started as the agile movement of lithe limbs, now it was the way she put colors, textiles, and silhouettes together. Perhaps what everyone says is true. Only the mad ones could see and create beauty.
The heels of her Jimmy Choo crystal-embellished ankle boots clicked against the marble floor, announcing her arrival to the exclusive crowd at the exhibition. Her presence caused a stir in a supposedly quiet and relaxed occasion. It had not been announced officially, but the sparkly 0.50 karat diamond ring on her dainty finger was too hard to miss. At this point, everyone that was anyone in Seoul's elite society knew about Son Mina and a certain older gentleman. Not letting all the stares and whispers bother her—frankly, she was probably enjoying the attention—Mina, with a smile tugging on her cherry red lips, strode to the artist, offered congratulation on the exhibition.
After pleasantries had been exchanged, the raven-haired female started to browse around with a flute of champagne in hand. She must admit, the artist was very talented, all the paintings were brilliant, but none of them really caught her eyes. Pretty soon, she was bored of it. Sipping the drink, she mindlessly meandered through the exhibition, her eyes looking at people rather than the paintings, and that was when she saw him. Someone all too familiar. Normally in this situation, other might immediately turn away, fearing the awkward run-in with an ex. Not Mina though. Suddenly, her boredom had dissipated. "Kim Taehyung. What a sight for sore eyes." She said, standing behind him, waiting for him to turn around. When he did, she took the sunglasses off, revealing those dark, enigmatic eyes. She smirked. "It's Mina. Remember me? Or did you forget about me already?”

She got blood cold as ice And a heart made of stone But she keeps me alive She’s the beast in my bones
Champagne and fur slow dancing at French parties. Money and affairs at cocktail dinners. Smoking cigarettes and laughing in vain cause kings and queens never hurt, they say. Pretty eyes and mouths full of regrets, drinking red wine since the age of 14, cause wine is thicker than blood, and gold coins are running through their veins. Parents travel to Monaco for the honeymoon, only to get a divorce. Poor friends with nothing but money and dope. Call your hot wealthy boyfriend; tell him that you’ve fallen in love with someone too vulgar for your demons to drink a glass of liquor with. Work, bitches work, you shout as if you’ve chew your own gold by yourself. Red dresses and black suits dancing with depression and dying for attention. Oh my baby, with all your money, you couldn’t even buy yourself a soul. And now you pay all the artists in the world to write you a soul. Here you go darling; this poem is your soul.
