Tried out my artstyle from 2020(ish) wich I still find suer cute! (Tbh not super different from my current artstyle, just a bit simpler with way thicker lines)
This is HDF (an acronym for Henry, David and Fredrick!) They're triplets who woke up one day being sown together as a punishment for not getting along. More about each of them on TH!

but here is my comfort and/also my regression sona (cuz sometimes I age and pet regress, sometimes for comfort, sometimes unintentionally)
But Nonno here is baisicly an adorable amalgamation of things I find cute and comforting! It is a mig between a seal and a cat (but also a little bit of a dog, and little bit of a bunny)
Unlike my other furry characters: Nonno is considerably more animal like!
-It can walk around on all 4rs and do so comfortably,
-while it does have 5 "fingers", it's "thumbs" is not as aposable and it has shorter fingers (so yeah, way more like an actual paw, but i suppose if it wanted to it could hold a pen and draw, just more clumsy)
-actually acts like an animal: they like to loaf, when mad it stomps like a bunny, it can talk but usually just meows (or do other animal noises), when loafed they can do that seal thing where they squish their face :3
-Theyre kinda plushie like? Idk, they have a little tag (with my logo) and they're genderless
-they have small claws but they're well taken care of and trimmed so nothing sharp
-they have a little star antenna cuz teletubbies, it can glow
-it's eyes are not fully black, like dogs: if Nonno looks to the side you can see that it's eyes are based of the LPS eyes! (can be the "friendly", "cuddly", "little", and "happy")
-Thier age is ambiguous, but technically they're the same age as me but they're a regressed version so they're like 9yo, but not really but also... yeah, ambiguous. BAISICLY: A REPRESENTATION OF MY INNER CHILD (and NOT literally my child self (I have my childhood fursona to represent that wich i will not share cuz it was from a dark time in my life)
-they're a service animal & emotional support stuffed animal, where I guess I would be the handler (or my other fursonas (I have 2 other ones: Nutzo & Nazooka)
, I will design the vest and stuff another time
⚠️ (i don't have a service animal irl and I have great respect for handlers and trainers of such animals. I chose for this fursona to be one because I as a person have an easy time picking up when people feel down, or when something is off, and also cuz I myself suffer from some mental issues where I have to be the reminder to myself.) ‼️
To anyone else reading this: please be respectful of service animals and people with the need for those animals! Don't distract them from when they're working, pets aren't just cute little things to squeeze, they're living beings and some of them have jobs where they need to concentrate ^_^ admire them from afar

it’s so fun to be scrolling unhinged posts and then boom. an organism!
so many moths‼ also, unexpected comedy with some of the matches
perfect blend of silly and informative, and makes for an excellent punchline at the end of a long post. puts creatures on my dash. literally what more could you ask for
It's a really unique blog concept and a lot of times the results are pretty funny. It's great when the sequence matches the post content too!

They're also very good about tagging the type of creature depicted in the results, so as long as you mute tags of creatures you don't want to see, it's a very fun time seeing iconic legacy posts (and new submissions) being reduced down to a string of letters and assigned a random species of fish or moth or something!

This gimmick blog has it all: science, pictures of animals, interaction with the text of other peoples' posts, interesting information, and a unique and fun premise. As a biologist, I'm rooting for hellsitegenetics to reach the end and take the tournament, because it is truly a standout among gimmick blogs.
