28 BOULEVARD

Hey, we're an ambitious young Cambridge-based band looking to expand our musical horizons and get our name out there. Be sure to "listen" at the bottom, and let us know if you're a band we should be listening to and we'll spread the word. We like to keep variety when we write songs, and we collaborate as one to make that happen, giving our own thoughts and ideas, but we have to say that Lewis Moon is the main face and songwriter of the band ;) and of course the tankest bassist alive ;)

Saturday's set went well, and was broadcasted on a Cambridgeshire radio station. We played some oldies as well as our new one, "I've had it", which we'll put up either once we get hold of the acoustic recording or once we're out of the studio. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!

What's an average practice with you guys like?

We'll usually meet at Tim's, having stopped at the shop on the way to grab some munch. We practice in "the hut", which is like an outbuilding with plumbing and electricity at the back of Tim's garden. Once we're all there we usually end up jamming for a couple of minutes for cohesion. Then Tim will boss us around until we behave. We'll first of all tidy up any upcoming setlists, practice "younger" songs so that we can play them backwards. Once we've done the standard list someone usually has an idea for a new song, usually Tim- sometimes Michael. He'll teach it to the rest of the band and then we'll play it together and edit it around. Sometimes we write from scratch when we're together, too. We often use logic to get out songs down before we play them. So yeah we go through whatever's not perfect. And by the end we've usually finished our murray mints or whatever Lewis has brought this week. It's alot of fun getting together cause we all get on so well and have so many in jokes. We're not really fans of visitors unless they're quiet, or ridiculously attractive brunettes... :) there ya go.
