i’m watching an art theft documentary and they’re interviewing this art history professor from new york who was asked to go with the fbi to authenticate a rubens that had been stolen but it was a sting operation so they had to pretend like they weren’t the fbi, that they were some private buyer about to pay $3.5 million for it, and the fbi was like “this is a VERY delicate operation because you never know how they will react to what you have to say so let the agent do all of the talking, don’t say a word to anyone just nod if it’s the rubens, the last operation we did the guy in your position got shot because things went wrong in a second” and then it cuts to the professor’s interview and he says “i wasn’t going to fly down to miami to be a part of an undercover fbi sting operation to handle what could be rubens’s aurora and just NOT say anything. i was gonna have to ad lib a little” and then he tells the interviewer that when he & the fbi agent got to the hotel while he was examining the painting he started lecturing the other people, first on how badly they had wrapped it, and then about like how it had been painted, the history of it, what the subject was and what she was doing, etc etc, and he was like “i hadn’t taught a class on rubens in 15 years, so for me it was like being back in the classroom except my students couldn’t leave”
at one point during the deal the professor turned to the woman selling it and he said “isn’t this just the most beautiful rubens you’ve ever seen outside of a museum?” (because the fbi had told him earlier that this piece had been stolen from a museum) and THEN he said “where on earth did you get it from?” and the group of people the woman had with her was like taxidermy-fox.png but the woman was like “inheritance” can you IMAGINE the fbi agent about to have a fucking aneurysm when this random guy you’ve brought in just to nod if it’s the right painting not only starts giving an impromptu lecture but then he asks how they got it

Another thing I don't understand in so much sexual imagery is the fixation on like 'perfectly smooth, textureless, hairless skin'. The most fun part of touching someone is all the little weird spots and textures. I love feeling the way the hairs run with or against my caress, the way the little bumps and grooves flow under my fingers, the little imperfections that make their skin truly their own. Stretch marks especially just look so cool and also are such good texture especially because they tell the stories of you. Also like... the rush of recognizing places on someone's skin because you've touched it so much and so intimately that you've memorized the details of it? Extremely good.
Anyway this is also part of the appeal of leaving marks on someone. Bruises and hickeys or cuts and scars. Contributing to the canvas and making it my own. It's really, really good. Highly recommend. Also in my experience a "memorizing the details of your body in spite of the sounds you make" approach to groping can be enjoyably objectifying in a special way.
used to live in a college town that was huge on sports. 80% of small talk was sportsball and so i developed an Evil Habit: whenever the conversation inevitably turned to the upcoming Big Game i would act excited and then confused. I would earnestly insist they had the details wrong. "the game next Saturday? don't you mean the Thursday after? playing against the [predator species]? no we're playing against the [other predator species]." And so on. i would draw this argument out for as long as feasibly possible, until eventually someone would pull out their phone to prove to me my wrongness. At which point I would squint exaggeratedly at the screen, slap my forehead in an eureka moment, and exclaim "oh you meant the MEN'S team!!! are they doing a game? that's nice."
even when it's not done intentionally, conditioning is cute. i love how the sound of me walking closer is enough for it to shift over on the couch, how the beep of the oven makes its mouth water, how it opens its mouth when it hears the spoon. classical conditioning in particular is fun because it's automatic. consent-agnostic. your brain will connect the dots even if you don't want it to. of course, you can really only play with automatic responses, then. mouth watering at good, cringing away from pain, nausea, heart beating faster, flinching, feeling emotions. but you can build a story if you're creative enough.

because of my very poor memory, i do sometimes forget about hair pulling and then get really into it for a week or two. it's really cute how easy it is to shift a subject into a headspace of submission by simply asserting strong control over the position of its head through a strong grip with the base of its hair. also a great way to get it to expose its neck for you to play with with your mouth.

humans are space orcs-type situation where almost all sapient aliens are one of or the sole dominant apex predator on their home worlds so no one is that surprised by the whole “humans are ravenously hungry predators” thing. it’s the future. we have lab-grown meat for almost everyone, and the few sapient herbivores we do have are very understanding about “i’m an obligate carnivore i’m gonna starve if i can’t eat at least mostly meat” so that’s fine
what they are very put off by is the social behavior. they’re mostly lone predators who will pair-bond with a mate or a small group to raise young, but not any more than that, so the concept of humans hanging out in groups that are hundreds strong is very odd
it’s not even that the desires for companionship and touch are weird. many species have domesticated some of their planets’ wildlife for the same reasons humans got dogs and horses, so they’re familiar with friendliness as a trait, but they’re used to it in animals that are, for fear of sounding rude, kinda dumb
humans are so, so wildly not dumb, and the combination of wicked smart and very friendly is a bit eerie to everyone. the human equivalent situation is something like “our hunting party adopted a golden retriever we saw on the street, and she spent like four hours cuddling with us, at her request mind you, and then grabbed a wrench and fixed our hyperdrive without asking. no one explained to her how one works and she claims she’s never seen one before and just ‘figured it out.’ i don’t know what to make of that”

Theoretically I believe loud outspoken extrovert types could be dominant but do they know the more someone speaks the easier it is to get into their head?
I'm sure technically you don't have to have the brain of a scientist to succeed as a domme but if you aren't studying them like a bug then there's no way you're getting optimal results
