The Sims 2 - Service Station:

“Let me introduce you to one of my favorite games in the Playstation Portable roster. This may look kind of boring, but I do like it a lot. I’m a fan of the handheld / console The Sims games because they are focused on a story and missions, so you have an end goal. Either way, I’ve been wanting to do a quick review for this game, and what better way to do it by doing my level reviews. There’s only five main areas, so this is going to be quick. We first start in the Service Station. You won’t spend a lot of time in here, so this is basically a tutorial area. If you’re familiar with The Sims 2, or even with the handheld games, you will recognize two characters, miss Bella and Mambo Loa. This game tells the story of The Sims 2 (more specially, Strangetown), but with some changes, so a lot of the plots of this game will be very familiar. In here, you will spend most of the time talking to Mambo Loa, who’s going to teach you some of the basics of the game, and sell you some important items, specially for future missions. It may be a slow start, but honestly I don’t mind. This game has a lot of humour and cute moments, so it’s hard to be mad at the slower speed.”

The Sims 2 - Paradise Place:

“Here’s one of the main locations in the game. You will spend a good amount of time in this place. You will meet a bunch of families, and you will have to help em out. Also, you have your own missions to take care of. In the previous place, Bella sold her house to you, and unfortunately your house has some unwanted guests, so you have to fix that. Lastly, Doctor Dominion makes his appearance, and he’s the main threat of the game. He has the powers to control any person, like he’s a The Sims player (Oh yes, the main story of this game is wild AF).”

The Sims 2 - Dead Tree:

“Third location in the game and my favorite one in the game. You have zombies, dudes that float, vampires, werepogs and a cult who worships a giant cow…a whole mess. There’s a good amount of iconic and hilarious in this level alone.”

The Sims 2 - Division 47:

“The previous areas had a good amount of The Sims references and characters, but this whole area is literally Strangetown, but with some changes. Half of the missions are ok, but the other half is quite interesting. It’s a good level before you visit the final location.”

The Sims 2 - The Monument:

“Last level of the game, and it’s quite an interesting conclusion. This whole level is full of 4rd wall breaking, funny jokes and intriguing gimmicks. It’s a pretty awesome conclusion to this awesome game.”
