i would love to support your original art but i dont see any kind of link to it on here so and no offence but like fandom shit draws more people in than original stuff so obviously theres a wider audience for that that you could redirect. to original stuff. but i have no clue who you are and i would assume many also do not. does that make a lick of sense

I worry now that the only thing anyone gleaned from that thing I wrote a couple months ago now was just that I was pissy that obviously the general public cares more about Gorillaz 2Doc than whatever else it is I ( someone nobody knows, yes) am cooking up.

I know this, of course, and take absolutely no offense to it. I am bothered, but not in a Personal Call To Action type of way. In fact, I have purposefully separated the two online presences, because I don't actually expect you or anyone to go and follow anything else I'm doing.

So to clarify: honestly, I'm just a neurotic person. I want to post things online to the public and then when I do I am either irritated that no one gives it the time of day (my very own original work usually) or that so many people give it the time of day that they're off reuploading it to Pinterest.

And to double clarify: this isn't an ''art theft'' thing because I don't care about that, it's 2doc fanart, like, give me a break of course people are going to reupload it. I just have some kind of existential dread when anything I've made is archived forever beyond any capacity I have to remove it because I want to be like a ghost. but a ghost with attention and renoun. Paradoxical, yes, absolutely.

Do I expect anyone to do anything about anything I'm complaining about? Certainly not and that's why I threw it into the tags, with their like, slightly less opaque font, as to signify a ''don't pay too close attention to what I'm saying."

People who deny Murdoc's Energy have no taste.

I feel bad. There's so much flavour you're missing, guys.

Obviously it's fine to have your own tastes and preferences, but when huge swaths of the fandom are seriously arguing that they "just can't see it" for Murdoc, for he is simply too Stoic and Powerful and True Masc Dom... let's be serious babes. If he waxes his orifices and wears g-strings and crushes on stocky geezers and (at the very least) jokes about winning rear of the year with unfaltering precision for an entire decade, he's not exactly running from The Energy.
