SITES of BUDAPEST
Budapest deserves quite a position in the map of any travelers.
Par excellence. Said one of my friend who had already set foot on more than 35 countries, 5 continents with her 20-year-old eyes.
#Margaret Bridge
As the second permanent bridge in Budapest, Margaret Bridge presenting itself as a master piece of art of Neo-Baroque, due to it’s origin of a Parisian architect Ernest Gouin, whose design blue print and team from France stood out from a design competition launched in 1871.
Margaret Bridge connects Szent István Boulevard and Margit Boulevard. And today, Margreat Bridge still serves as one of the main traffic gateway in Budapest despite the urgent need of maintenance to it’s basic construction. However, the elegance night view of this French Baroque bridge still sufficient in attracting tourist simply for a sightseeing.
#Buda Castle
The first construction started in 1243 and successively affiliated other surrounding palaces. Nowadays, the main structure is general known as Royal Palace. No so plainly gorgeous if compared with its surrounding buildings.
Gate Tower at the Round Bastion, History Museum and Mace Tower are just few of the most visited spots. Tourists all over the world visiting here with a mind as pilgrims to get refreshed by Mediaval buildings and Baroque style.
