a lot of current "youth slang" going around online right now is appropriated aave. unc, finna, crash out, etc to name a few. i'm no expert on the subject, especially as a younger white person. but it's not very hard to look up the origin of the word and see that it is most likely aave, before whatever slang word it's been bastardized into.

"phrases from tiktok" are largely bastardized versions of aave.
