Hello! I'm Quetzal and this is my furby sideblog. I may post about other animatronic toys here too, but mostly furbys.

-I go by she/her, cis, bi
-to be up front if you're transphobic or anything of the sort I do not like you and think we shouldn't interact
-this blog is sfw, I may cuss some but for this particular blog I won't do it as often as usual
-my favorite furby type is 2005 furbys! I love them so dearly
-I like to draw, I'll post my furby art here when I make it
-I also love larger restaurant and theme park animatronics too

This is Tora Tora Tiger (or just Tora or just Tiger), my first furby! Me and my friend went on a bit of a roadtrip to get her, the journey was fun. this furby uses any pronouns
This is Kiwi, named by one of my other friends! Her motor was stuck but I got it running easily by pulling down the beak and spinning that corkscrew gear. My first 1999 furby! she/her
This is Bosco, my furby boom. All his movements work but his speaker doesn't and his eyes are totally white-however, he still emits the sound that is used to communicate with other furbys of his gen and the defunct app. any pronouns for this guy. my mom calls him the Seer
This is Benjamin, a gift from another friend! He's a little soft spoken but very kind. My friend's relative collects furbys too, and allowed this one to be given as a gift on the condition I don't destroy him (I will not). He came with the empty box too! He's quite cool. He/him
This is Flipper, my Furby connect, named by...another one of my friends lol. He's pretty normal, but he's quite pink! He/him
This is Warren, my furby baby! He had to be skinned for repairs but I got him running again. He/him
This is Mili! She/he. My dad found this one actually, at a super good price for her condition. She watches over me in my bedroom.
And here's Pon! Partially working as of now, only feet and beak move. She loves dancing and electronic music, footwork in particular :)

my friend's birthday is coming up soon (the same one mentioned in the 2005 kandi necklace fit test), and they have other furbys...I will be making More Necklaces I think...

Pon has arrived! She's being used as a model for a necklace for my friend's 05, Gale. Roughly 48 beads for a perfect fit. Only her lower legs and beak move, her upper gear train seems stuck but I'll try massaging the parts and see if that helps. Mostly speaks furbish, and she loves footwork songs :)
hi update: this thing came in the worst condition ive ever seen and experienced and was filthy when i got it. the push start (the long black gear not the white one. that one just wasnt there for some reason) and reset methods dont work and his faceplate is completely yellow and broken off feom the skin
but! but.
when i put batteries in it and press reset it starts making a high pitched squeaking sound? kinda like how 2012 and furby booms do when theyre connecting to the apps so that might mean something? help me out here gang
