cue the almost too loud laugh that sounds from the older of the two as he neatly folds his clothes and tosses each piece into his suitcase that's set on his bed . while his mother knows about the shit he gets himself into , he's more than glad that she's not home to hear what he has to say about the boy's only trip . " belly , it's a three week long road trip with conrad and jeremiah . the entire point is to get all kinds of fucked up and do stupid shit . in steven's entire defense , his whole thing with ej had been ej's fault . he couldn't exactly help if someone had a problem with his personality or the fact that he was intelligent and an overachiever , which seemed to be where the older boy's jealousy had stemmed from . he knows that's why he'd never gotten to spend much time with nini in the first place . but now that things have changed and the two boys have settled their differences , he wants to make a change moving forward in his dynamic with nini . he gives a mischievous smile , knowing that this very well could be the best or worst idea he's ever had .
