Played Halo 4. Yup.

We had a roller-blading floor date tonight. I can roller-blade, apparently, so I held my friends' hands as we went slowly around the rink. At one point, I wanted to get off for the second, so I sort of said something and then started letting go. And they freaked out! Like, "WE'RE GONNA DIE." Or something. I felt bad.
TULIP - 59/365
In English, we had peer reviews. This one kid wrote on TULIP, and how it doesn't work with something or other. I explained that I didn't really know what it was, so I was kind of lost. Everyone was like, "What?!" Oh Calvin.
Door - 58/365
I swiped my key card and walked through the door to my hall, like usual, and my lanyard got caught on the door handle. I reached back to undo it, and some guy behind me unraveled it. I was like, "Thanks!" And he was like, "Thanks for letting me in." I wonder if I let a random guy into our dorm.
Blank Tuesday - 57/365
Awkwardly blank day. (At least I can't remember what happened.) It was a good day though.
Early - 56/365
Woke up at 6 to go to the gym with a friend. She texted me at 6:13 (we were to meet in two minutes) and asked me if I was up. I said I was. She was like, "Oh, I guess we aren't going... too tired." I was all ready and didn't know what to do. But we soon agreed to just meet at 6:45. So it worked out.
55/365
I was copyediting for Chimes, and, since each article is in a Google Doc, other people are able to access it while you do. Each article needs to be edited three times, and I was messing with a section of one, and this other guy logged in. He seemed very confused about what I was doing, so I didn't fix anything, just wrote "awkward" and left. And came back later and fixed it.
Cats - 54/365
For my performance arts class, in small groups, we have to perform a poem from "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats." It's what the musical Cats is based off. My group was practicing our weird, enthusiastic performance in the basement, and people walked by staring at us strangely. Yup. Oh, and apparently, our poem "Mr. Mistoffelees" is actually a metaphor for T.S. Eliot's life (the author). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AF2kjla_NbY
OnStar - 53/365
I was driving to meet my family to get new passports at a place, and I was already running late. I had called OnStar, and was innocently following the directions. Next thing I knew it was saying, "Turn right on Cannonsburg." So I did. But then it was like, "Off route. Would you like to recalculate the route?" Oh OnStar. Sometimes you're so helpful, but other times... not so much.
I also tried to parallel park today. Even though a lot of people were waving and giving instructions, it wasn't pretty.
Apple Cider - 52/365
My dorm is doing this thing every once in a while where they have a professor over for dinner. Anyone can sign up to be part of it. This week (the first ever actually) my Philosophy professor came, so I signed up because he's cool. Sitting right next to him, I was drinking apple cider while he was talking and I suddenly was coughing and sprayed the cider out onto the table. He was like, "Are you ok?!" and I was like, "Fine, completely fine!" and the dorm RD was like, "I was ready to do the heimlich!" and everyone else looked at me like I was just seeking attention. Ha.
ReigKnight - 51/365
There was worship in the Recital Hall, which unfortunately has chairs. At one point, I wanted to go and be prayed for by people on the outskirts, so I had to climb over lots of people. I tripped over a number of people who were praying's feet and had to apologize for interrupting their praying. A guy even rapped some worship (so cool). Worship is good. But quite awkward when you have to stand in two square feet of space.
50/365
There was a guy in the dining hall, who I'm pretty sure was observing people for a class or something since he was alone, staring too much, and had a notebook. So I creepily watched him creep.
49/365
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Yeah, I didn't know that was a thing either. Awkward. (Sorry, I'm not even trying).
48/365
Went to the lovely Devon's (Devons'?) tonight. I should've just stayed at the dorm for another half hour and copyedited (yes, I see the irony of this after not knowing what to do with the name owneryness) instead of bringing my laptop and awkwardly sitting in their kitchen for that same amount of time.

Today I decided to drive for the floor date. No idea why I would do that. So I was in a car with two girls on my floor, and two guys from the floor we were on a date with, and I turned on to the highway because of stupid OnStar, so we had to try to find our way back to the main road. This was after I'd stopped at a bank so that three people from my car could get money, and I parked quite terribly. We were nearly late for the "hay" ride. It was an orchard. We picked apples. It was lovely.

I printed out my Religion paper (yes, I realize the last two posts have been about this class) after a bit of a struggle - I had edited it and only needed two of the five pages, and then there was no paper in our printer - and then, I realized at the end of one page and the beginning of the next were both the same sentence. So I crossed it off with purple pen (not my brightest moment). Hoping for the best.
