Anyone recognise the house on the left? We posted it a few weeks ago on our Instagram feed, and here it is again, this time with its Tennessee neighbour ☺️. I'm certain the children from the Korean house would love playing on the tyre swing next door. 🇰🇷🇺🇸
As you come around the bend on the left, the Korean lanterns lead you right onto the Tennessee road. I wonder what's around the next corner?
The weekend is always a good time for a big breakfast at a greasy spoon restaurant like this one in Johnson City. Or for checking out one of the yummy Korean restaurants advertised on the roadside signs you might just be able to spot out the diner's windows (if you squint and use your imagination...) 😉
Coffee & Pork Products -- a winning combination! ☕️🐷 LH side: Korea RH side: Tennessee
the original Mayne Williams library in downtown Johnson City seems to have gotten a facelift with a new façade courtesy of the Seoul Metropolitan Library. 📚📚📚
Pretty Korean murals and rustic Tennessee buildings. Lovely!
Come around the bend through the trees in Tennessee, and the view magically opens up to fields and farmland in Korea.
The Korean garden sheds annex perfectly onto the Tennessee warehouse, (which incidentally, looks like a real treasure trove) 🇰🇷🇺🇸
looks like the vine on the Tennessee barn on the left is trying to match the wow factor of the mosaic wall in Korea on the right.
so many lines in this fun black & white composite of a couple of two-story buildings.
we would love to hear your guesses as to which side is in Korea and which side is in Tennessee! let us know what you think in the comments! (hint: there's a clue if you look closely!)
ps - please tag friends that might be interested in our project! we ❤ new followers and fans!
The misty clouds float above the Korean rice field on the left and Tennessee pasture on the right. Such a summertime scene. …. L: Yongin, South Korea R: Unicoi, TN
fruits & vegetables this project continues to surprise and amaze us. some composites are planned (fire stations, for example). others are completely serendipitous...who knew we would both be enamored by the battered garage doors of a produce warehouse?! lots of fun to put together these coincidental shots. left: Yangpyeong, South Korea right: Johnson City, TN
fire trucks, fire stations
After a meal at the Korean restaurant, you can slip next door and check out the guns and diamonds 😋. .... LH: Gogi-ri, South Korea RH: Johnson City, TN
clotheslines ready for the week's laundry
left: Bongdam, Korea right: Johnson City, TN
Two lavender doors on opposite sides of the world. They're meant for each other, don't you think! 💜
