Dating Hawks Headcanons
Not gonna lie, I'm a total fan for all the hawks hc's but rereading the manga and rewatching the anime I've come to a few conclusions
Being in a relationship with Hawks means it being kept a secret
He's not going to show you off for a number of reasons mainly because he wants to protect you from everything
You're a pro hero? Then you understand why it needs to be kept under wraps
Especially since the commission is not gonna like the idea of Hawks living a life outside of being a hero
If they find out, they will use you as blackmail to keep Hawks in line
The closest you guys will ever be is standing together, waving towards the crowd and smiling; posing for the paparazzi
When you're both working together out in public, you keep it professional
He's more of the laid back type of guy, always making jokes and lightening up the mood to keep everyone happy, with his hands in his pockets, kinda leaning back with a smirk on his face
While you're more of the hardworking type who takes their job seriously, so usually you have your arms crossed together, standing tall but still smiling of course
Acting like comrades instead of lovers
Of course when you're both bored and waiting for some bad guy to show up, you play your favorite game of finding hidden places in the city where you make out before some passerby discovers you
And having your agencies close by is a plus which means it's not rare to see you two fight evil side by side
So no one really finds it odd that you both happen to be in the exact same place at the exact same time
As pro heroes you both depend on the public loving you, so revealing your relationship without a doubt would bring in some bad publicity and gossip so it's best to avoid that
But when you're together alone, the whole dynamic completely changes
He's Kiego Takami with you
The commission took his name away but you gave it back
Alone he's extremely affectionate and oh so clingy and like the minute you close the front door he's already pulling you to sit in his lap, him hugging you so tight you have to remind him to let go so you can breathe
He still makes jokes and fools around but he's not afraid to show you how emotionally vulnerable he is
And you're not afraid to be either
Because that's what brought you two together, when you both realized how much you trust each other
You both hate that you cant show any affection towards each other in public but you both make it up when you're alone
And you don't mind because when you're both home, you feel complete, like two puzzle pieces fitting together perfectly
That means when you're cooking dinner or watching tv or even taking a shower, Keigo is right there, right beside you, either holding your hand or pressed right against you, constantly whispering how lucky he is
Even though he's naturally an early bird, he hates waking up which means eventually you'd wake up and leave the nest bed
Because of his wings he's obviously the big spoon but he doesn't mind since it means he always gets a pretty good view of you
Some nights your back is pressed against his chest, others you're facing him
He loves seeing your chest rise and fall, the way your hands unconsciously wraps around his chest seeking warmth, the way your hair tickles his chin and his nose, the way your legs wraps around his
Hawks may be the number two hero to everyone, but to you, he's Keigo Takami
