Another One Down

Yesterday we interviewed our first female DJ. Donna DJ Baby provided a different spin on Sustainable House.  We were difficient with lighting, not completely prepared, however the show must go on. Jazmine the camera person for this interview manipulated the lighting available and we were able to get what we needed. We used additional audio equipment to ensure quality sound. All in all the interview provided glue to our material on Sustainable House. 

Tomorrow we are blessed to interview father/son duo Pope and Jordan. More to come!

Another successful interview was conducted last night with Donna DJ Baby in Lanham Maryland.

Today we met to put together video footage from Mexico and baltimore into adobe premiere. We edited the videos along with adding B-roll and inserting audio.

Playa Del Carmen Mexico

This week sustainable house met to review and unload all of the footage from playa del Carmen Mexico. There were 2 interviews that were done with two DJs and two dancers are in a plethora of B roll the interviewer/shooter took the JVC camera offered in the communications department along with a tripod.

Sustainable House -

Our documentary is progressively moving forward. We logged our previously secured interview with DJ Wayne Davis who also owned the Paradox Club. We have secured personal, location, and archival release forms. At present, Jaz is working on scripting, the documentary. Carolyn is in route to secure final interviews and broll from Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, at the Mi Casa House Music Festival, 2016. The equipment taken to Mexico is a JVC Camera with a boom mic,  hand held mic, as well as a tripod. Footage to be logged daily, to allow ease when editing. Terrel is to consistently update the tumblr.

Sustainable House

This week we We went to the studio of DJ OJI in Laurel, MD. We took the following equipment with us, Panasonic camera , mic, headset. We did not take lighting because we honestly thought we could of made the house lighting work. However while setting up finding proper Lighting became a challenge, yet we found it doable by using a table light and cellphone flashlight which allowed fare lighting. In the future, we will secure lighting from Dexter. The interview and Broll were successful. Stay tune for more updates!

     Is just that, recycling a genre of music that has been around for decades. We are currently building around the outline of our documentary.
