Previously Understanding Privilege

Hi, I'm Tristan. Fat, bisexual, and autistic. Genderqueer lady-person. White and middle-class. Able-bodied. Cis-passing and dyadic privileges. I'm making an effort to understand privilege, oppression, and intersectionality. (And trying to be an ally. Please call me out if I'm failing at it.) This has always been a personal blog, and it's sort of drifted from its original purpose. I still blog about social justice stuff, but you'll also see a lot about fandoms and my life here. (P.S. I am a literal helicopter, but don't let that weird you out.)

Just wanna say I'm still basically alright and sort of in the process of emotionally healing from stuff.

I'm currently doing this thing I do where I distance myself from any community I'm part of and ignore anything or anyone I associate with it, so sorry. (I think it might have something vaguely to do with PTSD?) In any case, I probably won't be around here for a while. But it's no one's fault, I'm okay as I ever was, and I'm hoping to come back once I get myself on more stable emotional ground.

What is enby compared to non binary?

It's like, the nonbinary equivalent of 'girl' or 'guy', etc. So for example, someone could say, "I don't know about you, but this enby is going to bed."

I want an alternative to 'enby'. I want one so bad. Enby is cute and I love that it exists and that it fits some people's needs. But. It doesn't really fit me? And using it doesn't make me feel comfortable the way I want it to.

So does anyone know of any alternatives?

i truly genuinely feel sorry for all the people who try to talk to me and get disappointed and upset because i probably sound like i don’t want to talk to them when i actually just don’t know what to say I’M SORRY

just a heads up, if i ever weird you out on any level, too friendly, too flirty, anything at all, i encourage you to be very vocal towards me about it to make sure i dont continue to make you uncomfortable. i dont want anyone feeling like im not someone they can trust and be comfortable around.
