Missing a support chain between characters that have a lot of potential? We can make it happen.

For this week's Update Wednesday, we wanted to give everybody a small peek behind the scenes. Although we're able to control a lot the aspects of a support conversation, the game saves some of the information as numbers, throwing away important information like the name. Here, we're trying to match the tracks and their numbers to their names for all 150 tracks.

Could you perhaps consider making a romantic support conversation between Edelgard and Hubert?

We are leaving the creation of the scenarios to the community: as much as we’d like to, we don’t have enough manpower to write all supports!

S-Support anybody!

Good news! We've unlocked the ability for Byleth to S support all playable characters in the cast, regardless of gender.

I know this is probably to soon to ask, but assuming if everything goes well are you guys going to make a lorenz/slyvain A support?

Lorenz/Sylvain A is definitely an option! We’re looking to give every pairing a C-A support chain, assuming there are community members willing to write them.

Thank you! The planned supports are listed in the Three Houses Supports Project spreadsheet. There you’ll find the support conversations that are in development at the moment.

Hey there! Just wondering how long you would like us to work on our supports before submitting them/checking in on progress.

You can submit them for a check-in at any time! We’ll give feedback on technical feasibility and the degree of details we’ll still need. 

Sometime soon, we’ll post a submission that should indicate the kind of things we’re looking for in a support scenario.

Would it be possible to have a list of the pre-programmed animations in the game (hands behind head, hand on chin, etc) to make script writing smoother?

We’re still working on the programming details of this, but this is definitely on the list of things to do. 

For now, please assume that any animations you’ve seen in game are possible (and if you can’t explain what kind of expression it is, you can just mention the voice line and support it occurs in!)

Ashe & Felix A support - Three Houses Community Support Project

Felix encounters Ashe training late in the evening. Though Ashe expects to be scolded, Felix shows a nicer side of himself.

I'm very interested in fandubbing for the project! A lot of fandubbers/freelance VAs will have home studios they can record from. It might be worth holding a sort of casting call or auditions? I was also wondering if the project had a twitter account to help spread the word!

Great! We’ll look into creating a casting call for the fan project. It’ll probably wait until scenarios are written-- that way, dubbers are aware of what should be acted.

Yes, we have a Twitter account, if that’s your preferred platform: @3hsupportsproj! The Twitter account is more for news and announcements, whereas Tumblr will also be for project organisation, taking questions, etc.

bit a silly question, perhaps, but - will this project also allow Byleth to S support more characters of the same gender?

Yes! We support mlm/wlw wholeheartedly. 

Byleth S supports are definitely possible, but we still need more time to research whether or not S supports between other characters are possible.

Ashe/Felix A support

Hello. I love this project. I’d love to submit an A support for the existing support chain between Ashe and Felix. I feel that there is a lot of potential with what’s already there in the game. It’s a real shame they didn’t continue the chain to B+ and A, so I’d like to claim those. Can I claim supports for an existing chain like that or do I need to start at C? Thanks!

Dimitri & Claude C support - Project proof of concept

Today we finished work on the first proof of concept custom support chain. As a demonstration, we chose to create a Dimitri and Claude C support. Please ignore the few visual bugs in the chain; we’re still working out the details in this demo.
