His name is Calla, he's a trans man that starts living in abyss during the timeskip. His family runs a merchant company and is trained in a variety of crafts, but when the war broke out his family just wanted him to keep making weapons. Once he had enough of that he ran away from home and ended up in abyss.
He's childhood friends with Ashe and reunites with him when Ashe returns to the monastery, and they eventually start a relationship.
