IF U DON’T MOVE U LOSE PART II
Well I’m still thinking about what happens when we don’t move. Medically speaking lack of movement causes the human body to lose muscle mass, lack of proper elimination (bowel movements) causes the body to become toxic, if you sit too long your blood has trouble circulating causing body parts to become numb. With extended periods of immobility there is the potential for the development of life threatening blood clots which could travel to your lungs, heart or brain causing sudden death. In the Old Testament there’s a wonderful description of Gods divine protection in the form of a pillar of clouds by day to shade the children of Israel from the hot desert sun and a pillar of fire by night to keep them warm when the sun went down and the temperature dropped in the desert and to give them light. The bible says if the cloud moved they move with it. What if someone missed the shift in the direction of the cloud? What if they got comfortable with where they were and decided to stay, what if just they refused to move. They would never receive the blessings God promised to Abraham and his descendants. It’s easy to become comfortable or familiar with a person, place, thing or lifestyle. But there are some people who don’t move or change due to fear. Fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of criticism or judgement, fear of letting go of what is familiar or simply abstract terror. It’s time to move from negative thoughts, the influence of negative people/relationships, negative environments and emotions. If you want your life to change then get up and move into God’s presence, it’s where you will find the rest, peace and comfort you so desperately need. Then you will be able to hear His voice and receive direction. We don’t move when we have no idea of which direction we need to go. God truly has all the answers, but we need to take time to listen and when He gives us instructions then we need to get up and move so we don’t miss out on what He has planned for our lives. My husband in a moment of discouragement once made the comment,” it seems like life just loves to kick a man when he’s down.” My response to that was “well then change your position and get up. It’s easier to move and you’re harder to target when you are in an upright posture. SO I SAY TO YOU WHO ARE READING THIS CHANGE YOU POSITION, GET UP AND GET MOVING!!!
BUT…
IF U DON’T MOVE U LOSE!!!
IF U DON’T MOVE U LOSE
If U Don’t Move U Lose…. April 22, 2015 8:15pm Today is my birthday and after a wonderful with my sweet pea (Kristen) and the hubby I was preparing for bed. I told him to go ahead and get his shower I was doing something. Well, he laid down so I went on and took my shower. As I showered God began to speak and what He said got my attention. He said” you know the saying if you move you lose, well it works the opposite as well. If you don’t move you lose too.” Yeah, I know, WOW! He began to recall instances that required swift movement like, Elijah and his servant at Mt Carmel waiting for the rain. (1Kings 18:43) His servant went up seven times. The seventh time he saw a cloud like a man’s hand. If his servant had not moved the cloud would not have been seen and the manifestation of the power of God in answer to prayer would have been missed or lost. If U don’t move U lose! 1Kings 17:8 (AMP) 8 And the word of the Lord came to him: 9 Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. Behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you. 10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. When he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her, Bring me a little water in a vessel that I may drink. 11 As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, Bring me a morsel of bread in your hand. 12 And she said, As the Lord your God lives, I have not a loaf baked but only a handful of meal in the jar and a little oil in the bottle. See, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and bake it for me and my son, that we may eat it—and die. 13 Elijah said to her, Fear not; go and do as you have said. But make me a little cake of [it] first and bring it to me, and afterward prepare some for yourself and your son. 14 For thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: The jar of meal shall not waste away or the bottle of oil fail until the day that the Lord sends rain on the earth. 15 She did as Elijah said. And she and he and her household ate for many days. There’s so much movement in this passage, the Word of the Lord came to Elijah, he changed his position did as he was told, he arose and went to the place called there. When he arrived “there” he met his assignment, the widow woman. She was instructed to bring him water, (position & direction change); she was preparing to die, but God had plans for her to live. The prophet dealt with her fear and gave instructions for her to “go and do.” So she went and did and the result you can see for yourself in verse 15. Now, what if Elijah did not hear and obey the Word of the Lord to “arise & go,” then the widow and her son would have perished. If U don’t move U lose! Not only do you lose but you cause others who are waiting on you to move lose also. Here’s the ultimate example, what if Jesus did not move from heaven to earth, what if Mary and Joseph did not move when warned by the angel. What if Jesus never moved to step out into His ministry at the appointed time. What if Jesus never moved down from the garden to meet His captors, what if He refused move from the place of His brutal beating to carry that cross to Calvary. What if He refused to move from life to death to finish His assignment to die for our sins? What if He never moved from the death to life, whip Satan’s behind, snatch the keys to death hell and the grave and set the captives free? If Jesus never moved from His position at the right hand of the Father to come to earth as an innocent helpless baby we would all be lost, forever separated from our creator, our father, God. Many right now are sitting quietly, religiously and are saying I’m waiting on God to move…He Already moved, positioned people, opened doors and made ways for you and if you don’t move now, guess what… U LOSE!!!

Water!
Water, Water Everywhere!!!
How often have you awakened in the night with dry mouth or mid-day felt weak and lifeless, just plain dragging? Most people reach for food, soda or coffee for a pick me up during the day. At night people hate having to get up during the night so they don’t drink water at bedtime. Therefore they wake up in the morning feeling sluggish with aching joints. Water is one of the most important elements needed for life to exist. Here are a few facts to help us understand how important water is to the human body.
Water makes up more than two thirds of human body weight, and without water, we would die in a few days. The human brain is made up of 95% water; blood is 82% and lungs 90%. A mere 2% drop in our body's water supply can trigger signs of dehydration: fuzzy short-term memory, trouble with basic math, and difficulty focusing on smaller print, such as a computer screen. (Are you having trouble reading this? Drink up!) Mild dehydration is also one of the most common causes of daytime fatigue. An estimated seventy-five percent of Americans have mild, chronic dehydration. Water is important to the mechanics of the human body. The body cannot work without it, just as a car cannot run without gas and oil. In fact, all the cell and organ functions that make up our entire anatomy and physiology depend on water for their functioning.
Water serves as a lubricant Water serves as a lubricant in digestion and almost all other body processes. The water in our saliva helps facilitate chewing and swallowing, ensuring that food will slide easily down the esophagus. Water also lubricates our joints and cartilages and allows them to (pardon the pun) move more fluidly. When dehydrated, the body rations water away from the joints. Less lubrication equals greater friction and that can cause joint, knee and back pain potentially leading to injuries and arthritis. Even our eyeballs need plenty of lubrication to work well and remain healthy.
Water regulates body temperature Our bodies can control over-heating through perspiration from sweat glands in the skin and from evaporation which produces a cooling effect. Blood is also routed into areas close to the surface of the skin where it can be cooled and then carried back to the interior of the body. Conversing in a cold environment, the skin maintains proper body temperature by shunting the blood away from the exterior surface thereby conserving heat within the body. The movement of water within our cellular systems also transports vital blood plasma which is 92% made of water. Blood plasma play a critical role in buffering the body’s pH, circulating antibodies from the immune system, and regulating osmotic balance which all helps to maintain proper body temperature.
Water removes harmful toxins from the body Water helps our bodies remove toxins in many different ways. Water flushes toxins and waste from the body through urination and perspiration. Water helps reduce constipation and aids in bowel movements which ensures that wastes are removed quickly and regularly before they can become poisonous in the body. This waste buildup can occur in the body if dehydration becomes a regular occurrence and this can cause headaches, toxicity and illness. Drinking enough water will also lessen the burden on the kidneys and liver by flushing out waste products.
Water transports valuable nutrients to the body Blood is about 92% water and it carries nutrients and oxygen throughout the body. Nutrients from the food we eat are broken down in the digestive system where they become water-soluble, which means they are dissolved in water. Water allows these nutrients to pass through the capillaries within the intestinal walls to the blood and circulatory system where the valuable nutrients and oxygen can be distributed throughout the body to all the cells and organs. In addition to the daily maintenance of our bodies, water also plays a key role in the prevention of disease. Drinking eight glasses of water daily can decrease the risk of colon cancer by 45%, bladder cancer by 50% and it can potentially even reduce the risk of breast cancer. And those are just a few examples! As you follow other links on our website, you can read more in depth about how water can aid in the prevention and cure of many types of diseases, ailments and disorders that affect the many systems of our bodies. (1) (1) http://www.freedrinkingwater.com/water-education/water-health-page2.htm
Now having this information could explain some of the aliments/ symptoms you go to the doctor for. The aching joints, chronic fatigue, back pain, poor memory, dry skin, rashes, any plethora of complaints which can be resolved simply by drinking water. Even if you take medicine you may feel it’s not effective and you need more or something different and the doctors, bless their hearts listen to your symptoms and based on what you say give you a prescription. Sadly here’s what many people say, that doctor doesn’t know what he’s doing I still have this pain or that issue those pills don’t work. Well, again not matter what you take if you don’t drink enough water your cells become dry and hard therefore they can’t absorb the nutrients, minerals or even the oxygen your body needs to function well.
Think how refreshed you feel when you have a cool glass of water, how energized your body becomes. Refreshing is not only available for your body but your spirit as well. Today take time to refresh your inner man by coming to the well of God’s presence and allow Him to restore balance and re-energize your spirit.
Jesus said this in John 4: 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

It's About You!
Smoothies...Soothe Ease...
Smoothies are known as a healthy and convenient way of infusing the body with nutrients. Foods are broken down to release a flood of vibrant colors, flavors and nutrients that help replenish body, build up and maintain healthy balance within the body.
That liquid smoothie takes care of the physical body so let’s look at two areas that oftentimes are neglected, your mind and emotions. Allow me to introduce a different kind of smoothie; I spell it like this “Soothe Ease.”
Soothe ease is a special treatment of TLC for your mind and emotions. In our hurry up and go world it’s time we begin to tend to our minds and emotions. There’s a saying I made up for myself,
“Good Stuff in Good Stuff Out.”
I have found when I actually take time to pamper and invest in myself I am much calmer, relaxed and balanced in my mind and emotions.
I take one day a week to shut out everything and everybody out. I go to my bathroom light candles and play instrumental or old school music. I prepare my bath with Epsom salt and some essential oils shut the door and baptize myself.
It’s there I am able to quiet my mind, my spirit and relax my body. I don’t stop there after my aromatherapy bath I find a quiet corner and sometimes watch a funny movie and laugh out loud, sometimes laughing so hard my eyes tear up or I may sit quietly and enjoy my music.
Then it’s off to bed for a peaceful night’s sleep. I have just had a wonderful “Sooth Ease” moment. I have taken time to replenish, build up and restore balance. I put some good stuff in, music, laughter and rest / relaxation. Now I’m better equipped for whatever comes; now I can have some good stuff flow out of me. I can share a smile, a kind word or process situations without stressing out on a hectic day.
I encourage you to indulge in moments of “SOOTH EASE” on a regular basis. Find what works for you whether it be gardening, crossword puzzles, walking, or simply chillin` on your deck, do it, work it! Stop neglecting the invisible treasure inside that helps you stay sane! Get healthy and stay healthy inside and out.
Spirit, Soul and Body!

What is 3J-LWM About?
What is 3rd John Living Well about? It is inspired by 3 John 2 which says "Beloved,I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as they soul prosperth." It's about living a life of prosperity in every area, not only in our finances. Prosperity includes our minds/ thoughts, our emotions, our relationships, socially, spiritually, and in our health/ bodies.
For too long I have watched many wonderful, loving believers who suffered with illnesses and some even died prematurely. They prayed for God to heal them and in many cases He did, but what happened? When I shared this is a good friend of mine his response was so spot on. He said "I'm sick of people thinking God will do it all. Prayer is not enough. Once they get off your knees, then what? There is always something required of us if we are listening."
I was blown away by the way he articulated with such precision exactly what I was feeling and thinking. After Prayer, what then? What a poignant question. I recognize that it is time for believers, those who call themselves children of the Most High God do what the Word says in 1 Corinthians 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your Body, and in your spirit, which are God's. Hallelujah! And Amen!
God has given us but one body which he calls the temple. 1 Corinthians 3:16 tells us that we are the temple of God and His Spirit dwells within. It's time to give God's Spirit healthy bodies to dwell in.
Yes, God is our healer, Praise God for Jesus who was bruised, wounded and by His stripes we are healed! Hallelujah!
Now that we are healed let’s begin our journey learning to walk in divine health! 3J-LWM, with the help of God's Spirit dwelling in me is focused on rebuilding your broken temples and restoring the beauty and glory that was ours from the beginning!
So keep checking in as there is more to come!

OK people it's a magnificent day let's get moving!
Go Green!
These days we hear about being “Eco Friendly” or going green to protect our planet.
One definition I found says this; Eco-friendly literally means earth-friendly or not harmful to the environment (*1). We even see symbols to remind us to be earth friendly. Unfortunately we don’t come with signs, symbols or warning stickers to remind us to be body friendly.
Have you ever noticed that plants, trees and grass are all basically some shade of green. Not to mention that most of the foods we eat from the ground have green leaves, stems, stalks or blossoms. Seems like green could be a very important color when it comes to our nutritional needs.
The biblical significance of green is awesome:
Green Praise; Growth; New beginnings; Eternal life; Prosperity; Vigor; Freshness; Resting in God, Knowledge, Fresh oil Psalm 52:8, Isaiah 43:18-21 (*2).
So lets look at some healthy green foods: kale, turnip greens, collard greens, spinach, broccoli, asparagus, green peas, brussle sprouts, green peppers, green beans, arugula, romaine lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers, parsley, cilantro, avocado, green olives, dandelion, mustard greens, watercress, and much much more! Let’s not forget green fruits like kiwi, pears, grapes, apples all come in green too!
All greens contain massive amounts of chlorophyll and a high concentration of minerals. They are extremely potent and such powerful intestinal cleaners that they should be combined with other fruits and vegetables, especially when juicing them. Chlorophyll is like liquid sunshine and: (*3)
✓ Builds the blood ✓ Makes the body more alkaline ✓ Counteracts toxins ✓ Helps purify the liver and colon ✓ Soothes and repairs tissues ✓ Builds muscles and bones ✓ Creates enzymes and hormones ✓ Eliminates body odors and bad breath ✓ Resists bacteria ✓ Aids healing ✓ Aids mucus discharge ✓ Improves vision
Purpose today to begin your day in a green way and receive Freshness, Vigor, New beginnings, and Praise our God for all His marvelous works!

The Good Things in Life
3rd John (AMP) 2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
Many of you have seen the skittles commercial. Their catch phrase is “Taste the Rainbow.” Only thing is their rainbow is classified as junk food.
Well, I’d like to challenge you to taste God’s rainbow of wonderful colorful fruits and veggies! Over the next few days before you start shoveling food into your mouth, take a moment, give thanks then look at your plate. Does your plate have a variety of colors i.e. the rainbow, or texture as in crunchy, smooth or seedy; are the shapes round, elongated, or oddly shaped on your plate?
If not then, MAKE A CHANGE! See your plate as an artist pallet full of potential! Be creative! Challenge yourself to eat something new weekly, something you have never tasted before. Decorate your plate with the rainbow of vibrantly colored fruits and vegetable God has provided for your enjoyment and your health.
