Today my dream was quite odd. I dreamed there was a man standing at the entrance to the court house here in mobile. Divorce court to boot, (why) SO the judge was rose M., a person who has had a silver spoon in her mouth since birth, (last time I was in her court room she insisted she would hold people to their word. )
Man just found out that his attorney has retired an hour prior to his court time. The man is frantic, he knows he must have representation when he appears before the all hating judge c. The man thinks, (even prays) he calls his pastor who just happens to be Alben G. (nice mild mannered good guy)
SO Alben walks into court with the man, he has cards that he keeps shuffling like a poker shark might (not sure why)
All while the man is trying to stay calm, (he really wishes the divorce would go away and his wife would talk with him once again and give him her heart once more)
The case begins…. Judge reads a bit of the plea on the case, asks Bro. Alban how he knows the couple, he tells C that he did not do the counsel prior to the marriage, but he has gotten to know the couple a bit while they attended his church, said the are good people.
C looks out at the people in her court…. Bangs her gravel twice on the board and says….. (lady‘s name…. you when you said your marriage vows you gave your word to honor in sickness and health till death do you part correct? Lady simply answers “Yes, your honor.” C, then says now, you may not know this but I hold people to their WORD. You gave Your word to stay bound to this man till death do you part, I do not grant this divorce, you and bound to your word…. Work it OUT!
You may not know that CNN is in Mobile, filming something to do with the museum. Someone in their file crew hears that a divorce judge has dismissed a case (not granted the divorce) and is all a buzz. They locate the couple interview them and them interview Judge C. She flat tells the camera (which was viewed nationwide) that she will hold everyone to their word. That is they verbal said they pledge themselves to another person she would not grant the divorce. (this became national news!)
In other states judges decided they would do the same. Nationwide, people were being held to their word. Things started changing.
For one less people took care about what they said to one another. Your word became your bond once again and things changes in ways one would never imagine….
