Megan & Zak were such a joy to work with! I never imagined I’d be paparazzi to a couple of celebrities, but that’s what it felt like following around a newly married couple at a crowded theme park! Their big day was so much fun, and I love that they started their married life by riding a roller coaster together.

I wanted to share a few before and after photos to show a bit of my editing process! These are pictures from my vacation this summer in the beautiful beaches of Portugal’s Algave region. Shout out to my friend Ashley for being a great subject as always, and for taking the photos of me shown here!

The setting was so gorgeous, but I removed some safety cones & caution tape, as well as lightened and added my own style while editing the images.

Ashley | June 2018 | Albufeira, Portugal

It’s always wonderful to travel with good friends, and it’s even better when you can squeeze in a mini photo shoot on the last day of an adventure! Praia Sao Rafael was one of the closest beaches to where we stayed, and it was one of my favorites. The water was quite chilly, but the views were spectacular from every angle.

One of my best friends (and college roommate) is getting married!! We've been friends since we met on our very first day at OU, and we became roommates as soon a room opened up in our dorm before the end of our first quarter. To say that I'm happy for her is an understatement, and I already bought waterproof mascara to help me look somewhat professional when I photograph her big day. I'm happy for Andrew as well, because he gets to marry one of the coolest people on the planet!

Sara + Bryce | 04.07.18 | Columbus, Ohio

These two had so much fun! Not only did they choreograph their first dance together, but Bryce & his mom had a choreographed dance as well! Also, take a look at Sara’s gorgeous dress! Her grandmother made it custom for her, and it was breathtaking! I with both of them a lifetime of happiness together!

I forgot to share these photos that I took this past winter! We did a mini session to update some headshots for her. She did great! We had beautiful sun, but you can’t see the wind or feel the cold temperature (I believe it was in the teens).

Alison + Steve Engagement | Celina, Ohio | January 2018

I traveled to Celina, Ohio for this gorgeous winter engagement session! Alison & Steve knew they wanted snowy pictures, so we were lucky with the unpredictability of Ohio winters that we able to get pictures with snow! The only downside was that it was about 18 degrees (who knows what it was with the wind chill by the lake)! They were great sports, and we made the most of it! The icy lake was an especially beautiful setting! We also enjoyed chatting over coffee while we thawed out at Brew Nation, a cute restaurant with delicious drinks. They were nice enough to let us take some photos inside & turned on their cute string lights outside for us, too! It was great getting to know Alison & Steve better during their session, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this November!

M Family | Gibsonia, PA | January 2018

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph the M family for the past few years, and it is so much fun to watch their family grow! This time we welcomed baby I with a lifestyle session in their home! Baby I has a very loving and proud big brother, and a happy dog, both of which love to shower her with kisses! More photos of Baby I coming next!

I do custom watercolor paintings in addition to photography, and this was a wedding bouquet for an old friend! Time-lapses are pretty fun, so I’ll try to do more of them in the future!
