genuine expression of your emotions, especially your negative ones, is incredibly important to keep your mental health in check. doing it through music (listening or creating), clothes, makeup, poetry, etc is a safe and healthy way to do it 

bottling up your emotions is never good. if listening to bring me the horizon helps you process your views on the world, do it. if smudging your eyeliner feels like you’re matching your inside to your outside, do it. if drawing bloody characters makes you feel better, do it. who cares if some boring loser thinks it’s cringe. do it for yourself

A question passed along from the host Mother of The Fiends: Is there any existing behind the scenes on Kallamar? Does he have an unfinished piece of angst we are yet to bear witness to? She desires to see that squid suffer...

This is a really good question because I have SO. SO MANY KALLAMAR ANGST COMICS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY. I uncovered some unfinished ones when looking for the sketchbook with the Leshy baby comic, but I also found an old watercolor one that was 100% done and I didn't post it because it was a sloppy personal comic.....SO here it is, the words are from this run-on sentence tumblr post that spoke to me on a spiritual level.

This comic was a sorta demo for a really important one I posted some panels from before + is on my comic bucket list I posted about forever ago? It was around when I started the Kallamar Psych Ward Arc, I have like half of it done but when it comes time to have the sentimental part play out, I have no idea what to do. I'll finish it someday because it's a pretty important one to me, but it's def one I need to get PERFECT because of the heavy topic, and that'd be most doable when I don't find myself relating more to the character mid-crisis than the one that's supposed to come in and help.

That's always the hard part of making these comics tbh, trying to figure out what the person comforting the other one would say. That's why the ones with the turbo angst where everyone is crying and nothing gets resolved are way easier to make LMAO

BELIEVE IT OR NOT I DREW SOMETHING FOR THIS MEME BEFORE I GOT THIS ASK but when I drew it, it was basically exactly paruparuparuparu's amazing drawing of my kallamar vs pre ascension kallamar, and I'm glad I noticed early on so I didn't accidentally copy it and post the result.... So this is the non plagiarism version I drew up the other day lmao

Slowly getting the hang of drawing again...am starting a big, big comic that features gods killed long before the events of the game...drawing pre-ascension kallamar absolutely helps with relearning SAI 2 because LOOK AT THAT THING. Easiest mf to draw ever, bro is literally a jelly-filled torpedo of whimsy and merriment
