no i fucking hate it lol she does not like being medicated people. She is literally forcibly medicated which is implied by the maid making sure she takes her meds. I think she only continues to take them in the wilderness out of habit and because she knows she'll get withdrawal if she doesn't - it's unfortunate that they skipped over her withdrawal sickness that was in the original script but I feel like it's still implied with "lottie's been acting weird for weeks".

Lottie wants to stay in the wilderness because she doesn't like how she is treated as a neurodivergent person. Adult Lottie is post a decade of institutionalization and has been literally abused into submission.

But you know, if you suggest not every schizophrenic needs to be medicated if they don't want to be people get scared lol not knowing anything about antipsychotics and how harsh they can be on schizospecs. They express the exact stigma that Lottie wants to avoid!
