This is an aerial view of Mount Fuji, Japan’s highest peak at 3,776 meters (12,388 feet).

The mountain is frequently viewed from aircraft, especially when it is surrounded by clouds that obscure it from ground-level views.

The climbing season typically runs through July and August, although the mountain is often snow-covered during other times of the year.
