After the possibility of david getting santi I'm impressed there's not more works on the prince narrative for david, like from being always in aspar and being kinda pampered there to (possibly) getting marc's old crew chief, to being considered for the oficial team, kinda crazy
David aware people see his emotional personality as weakness, him being aware he cant pretends to feel what he doesnt feel in the moment... framing it as strength
It's true that there's a common characteristic among riders: to show that they're always very strong or that nothing affects them, but I see it differently. If I show myself as I feel in that moment and externalize my emotions, it seems like I show a certain weakness, but I see it as a strength. That's why I share it this way with people. I can't pretend. This doesn't mean that when I say I'm wondering if it's worth getting back on the bike, I'm lying, especially if I recover and come back. We're simply human and we have our own mental battles. We're normal people who like speed and adrenaline. We must know how to have that dual personality or dual character; I recognize that it's important, to be who we are and, once we put on the helmet, to be a completely different person, to go into competition mode. But we cannot forget that when we take off our helmets again we are people, and everything affects us.
Meanwhile Marco in the small glimpse he appears is either contemplating his teammates music choices or his rides choices (I could have gone with daniā)

David: my relationship and friendship with marc is like a romantic story, the bike being his girl, him joking about flirting and developing romantic relationship but is actually talking about riding and the bike, like a first date one begins shy but gains confidence as the dates go on about gaining points in the championship
