David had to be brave, even if he thought about what he was going to do to himself for too long, his stomach would turn faster than his hopes on Sunday. He already suffered from that realization in the winter, already thrown up too much for it to fall on it again.
He was lucky to find his dom before he retreated for the day.
Manu's surprised gaze made David smile back, he tried to seem as harmless as he could, he didn't always ask new things from his Dom.
“Manu, I want you to touch me today."
"Yeah, of course, but how?"
"Cuddles but, I'd like to try sex stuff... like you can get off with me"
The silence almost made David want to scream ‘joke, haha, I was just trying to prank you!’ And look how Manuel would retreat back into his cocky smile and chill behavior to him.

Manu smiled in a way David hadn't seen him in months and, maybe this would work.
It wasn't always that David asked for him to be used for pleasure.
He was a ... special type of sub. It was always about the sensations with him. He was hypersensitive to say the least, too much when he was on subspace. So when Manu let him and Dani share scenes, when he decided to pour his dom instics into the both Aspar riders and actually listened to what David wanted. It felt like heaven. Just watching Manu undo brave, uncompromising Dani into putty, into a moaning mess, so subservient into Manu's hands, David liked it. Especially because Manu gave him orders, and he just had to obey them.
Keep this position. Don't move until I tell you to. Keep this in your mouth.
As the season progressed David asked to participate more.
Grab Dani. Don't let him move. Grab me this. Bring me that.
Manu always respected his wishes and David felt so happy. Even as the season went on, David asked for more without all the sexual parts. Manu tied him and cuddled him, blind folded him and let him kneel while the older studied the circuit, even hugged and and just pressed him against the bed without doing anything else. He never asked for more, never asked for relief to be given by David, never reproached him because he was unsatisfied, Manu attended his needs and told him it was enough for him, no need for David to do anything he didn't ask for.
But lately he was feeling needier, feeling like their scenes with Dani were getting more constant while he was getting less and less of that beautiful one to one time with Manu. More helping Dani and Manu off than his cuddles and reassurances while Manu did anything else. More staying at the side just helping and so, so less scenes of just him entering subspace with Manu and being subservient while at it. Way more of just the shared scene, more of David not getting the satisfaction he got out of them (lately, not even subspace for him to get lost into).
He cried after Dani told him and Maximo about the scene Manu prepared for him after the gala. Ran into the bathroom in Nico's room and lied, lied through his teeth about it being just disappointment for his rookie season.
What else was he supposed to do? Of course Manu liked what Dani's sub offered more than the nothing scenes David liked, it was meant to be. David always knew, he didn't understand why it hurt so much if this is what he had asked for.
But at the beginning of 2026, after Thailand, after the terrible mistakes he kept making over and over again, he didn't care if it embarrassed him, he needed to ask. After a whole summer of doubt and need and almost drowning solitude, such a lonely feeling as he tried to pretend he was going to get better next year, that he would be second, that he would win.
He just asked his dom, he needed it.

None of them had much time for the scene, so David found himself sitting in the chairs of Manu's hotel room as Dani got set up.
He felt nervous and unstable, that should have been his warning to not go ahead.

It wasn't a scene different from the rest, except David felt worse as time went on, as every word of reassurance Dani got told felt like a stab on his chest, as every bit of attention Manu gave Dani became its own circulating nightmare echoing on David's head.
He didn't know what he wanted, for Manu to include him, if to just give him an order, to put him into subspace to relax (after that terrifying accident, not even just cuddles and reassurances that everything was right?).
He had to be patient, his time would come... right.
He heard what Manu told Dani, about not worrying because his dom would stay. About how he did so good, about what great stuff he did on track. He heard Dani take whatever Manu gave him without complaining, the pain and all the praise. When it all finally ended, and Manu stood up to see his work, David tried to get close without breaking his kneel, looking into Manu's eyes to see what his dom would want from him now.
"Not now David, don't you see Dani needs me? He deserves this"

The cold shot straight into his nerves, and David tried everything to not cry. Not while Dani was being sweetly carried into the bathroom, while Dani complained and trashed, yet Manu kept caressing him and muttering sweet nothings into his ear.
David wanted that, he needed it, he said to Manu, he wanted it too today, he needed it more than everything, after that nightmare.
Was he not worthy, has the sub been too much of a fuck up?

And David didn't?
He had been so polite, such a good behaved sub, letting Manu do whatever he wanted of him (but that wasn't true, wasn't it? A voice in his ear replied. You asked not to be touched, and now your dom had you as worthless furniture to abandon, because that's what you are worth for) Manu had been so sweet about it. Does it bothered Manu? His request?
… Every second it felt more he deserved this, this was his punishment for his wrongdoings.
As the noise of the shower filled the room David couldn't take it anymore. His brain was completely foggy, he barely could move, and he felt the tears streaming down his face. He needed to get out, he needed to get out before his Dom got madder at him and punished him with something worse, with pain or a blow job, he had heard before Manu would do that if he misbehaved.
David gets ready on wobbly legs. Ran out into the hallway

He could barely close the door to his room, difficult when his cries were choking him, barely letting him see his room and his feet giving up on him on the hotel carpet.
David just dragged himself over the chair, letting his head rest on it as he desperately lost control of himself.
He wanted his dom, he escaped from him, he was a bad sub who escaped his punishment and now he had to suffer this alone.
When he finally regained consciousness it was daytime. The sun directly on his eyes, it's heat making his back feel too hot for comfort.
Everything pained him.
His headache was terrible, like he had been drinking too much last night. His dried tears felt terribly against the rough material of the chair he had his face against. His shoulder was on fire, his neck too stiff as his whole body had been hanging on it all night. He could barely move his legs from under him without thinking he hurt himself, he didn’t even feel them, he knew bruises would appear in a few days. At least he could pretend those were from the bike.
What he was supposed to do today, he was so stupid to let this happen.
Why did he even accept to scene with Manu and Dani at all?
As he prepared to go out to find his team again, after running through his routine and getting into the lobby, he didn't know what hurted him more. His whole bruised body or the fact, as he looked in his phone that neither of his partners went to look for him, not a call, a message.
(not even a knock on his door. Paolo, who slept on the room besides him, only heard the banging as he entered his room 'Because you woke me Parce, anything bad happened?')
Maybe Dennis and Jake were right, he was too needy for any doms liking, he asked too much and let himself be dommed too little. Manu must have gotten so tired of him wasting time and space on his sessions.
As his cheeks heated in shame, David promised himself his not doing this again, he isn't putting anyone else through his neediness
