not as good as lieke’s reaction to jill and ingrid but still entertaining from lia 6/10
I didn’t clock katie at first crying 10/10 for her
The admin knew we missed Viv. Giving us with this content. 😊

tomorrow <3
Don’t know what’s going on with Viv, but she’s not in it. Don’t think she was particularly bad on Friday, but yesterday was not great to say the least
I don’t think Friday or last night have been good enough from her tbh, and im not really a fan of her in the 10 role either atm
So great to be back at Meadow Park watching Arsenal - really missed this!
Brighton were, as ever, very well organised defensively especially given they were down to 10 for almost the entire game. They certainly made it difficult for our players to score with so many bodies in the box/on the line - thought Walsh had an excellent game in goal as well. But we did have a ridiculous number of chances and probably should have scored more of them. We were rewarded with 4 great goals in the end though (and maybe should have had Viv's as well - was Beth offside??) and it's a good start to the season.
There was some really brilliant football being played at times and I'm really excited to watch this team grow together even more over the season and see what they can achieve.
Thought all 3 of our January signings (Rafa, Stina & Laura) performed really well - looking forward to seeing them more now they've had more time to settle in. Really liked what we saw of Lina too - very excited to see what she can bring to the team!
It was great to see a full Meadow Park, especially for a night game - although it does help it's a Friday, hopefully it'll be another good crowd on Tuesday for the Ajax game and then of course we head to the Emirates on Saturday for hopefully a record breaking crowd!
The tribute to Maria before the game was really lovely and I thought it was a particularly sweet touch to include her in the squad list on the back of the programme:
so the toilets don’t flush?
nope fuming
honestly the biggest lie was being told we’d get new ones
oh!
And what about international fans? Some people were traveling from different countries to see games and now they have to cancel everything because of a monarch that doesn't even concern them?
Yeah fucking sucks! whole situ stinks
If you think about it, football would actually be a good place to mourn, it's a unifying experience emotionally, you're surrounded by people like you (English), you can get some entertainment to cheer you up!
No but honestly I bet they were afraid some "disrespectful" chants would start or something, even with a rise in prices it's still a "popular" sport and they're definitely afraid of that
yeah I feel like if a minutes silence/anthem (not that I sing it but)/black armbands would’ve been far more effective at whatever public mourning they’re after
i’d get cancelling the football so that people can mourn and what not but everyone is still in work and at school so not really fair
yeah funnily enough our grief isn’t meant to be so terrible that we can’t work! also the whole thing is twisted, mourning is a personal decision
The best way to make sure that the most political sport where fans are the most vocal don't have a problem with their authority is obviously to cancel their games to their major inconvenience as well as creating future issues for the teams themselves when they have to reschedule :)
doesn’t it just sum up this country that ordinary working people are being fucked over by a weirdo charade of outdated patriotism
This is supposed to make me respect the royals???
the mental thing is that there’s people who will think this is the correct decision hahahhaha
YES MATE TELL EM
ONCE MORE FOR THE PEOPLE AT THE BACK
FUCK THE MONARCHY, FUCK ENGLAND AND FUCK THE FA
I wish everybody at the FA involved with cancelling the football this weekend a very die in a hole you pathetic spineless bastards!
everybody go to work as usual and btw tory sports like cricket and horse racing are resuming this weekend, but football fans who’ve taken time of work, spent money on trains/coaches/hotels, can all sit at home and “mourn” an unelected figurehead. fuck off the lot of them
