Send me ღ if your muse has a crush on mine!
"My oh my...." {😉}
My muse just got out of the shower. Send me “My oh my…” for my muse to catch yours staring
Timothy knew he should’ve wrapped a towel around himself, but Addie had said she’d be out all day for research, so he felt like a quick run to the bedroom would have been safe. He was, in fact, very wrong. As he entered his bedroom, he found her standing in front of the dresser, shuffling through some paperwork.
He ducked behind the door and leaned in, “Uh… Sweetie? Could you, umm… hand me some pants?”
She picked up a sheet of paper, inspecting the data when she looked up towards her boyfriend.
Her /boyfriend/. By the Eridians. How the hell had she managed /that/?
It was then that she noticed the, ahem, lack of a few certain items of clothing that the paper dropped from her hand, her mouth falling open.
She felt her cheeks flush before she knelt down, trying not to look at him as she scrambled to pick the paper up.
"Sorry, I just...sorry hold on," she declared as she awkwardly threw the paper onto the bed with the rest, still not looking at him as she pulled the dresser open.
She picked up the first pair of pants she could find, tossing it at his feet as she turned her back to him and closed the dresser. Trying not to keep seeing that toned chest, and that glimpse of...well, other things.
Trying and spectacularly failing, actually.
RP Update
{Alrighty kiddos, here’s the ding-dong diddly-o. So I have a 12,000 word dissertation due in August, and am currently SWAMPED with research and writing and all that jazz. SO, I won’t be on this blog as often as I might be after this point. If you want to RP with me then I’m quite happy, but please be aware that I might not respond that quickly. Thanks for understanding!}
Update: it's actually 15,000 words, and I'm still working away at it. Same deal as before, though I promise I'll respond at some point...
"Do you know how beautiful you are?" The AI murmured, her words registering causing her to display the equivalent of a blush. "From a purely aesthetic point, of course." {ooc: hello!}
“Uhm….thank you, I guess?” He shifted slightly, crossing his arms.
4d1-exe :
“You made them?” She asked in wonderment before she chastised herself. Of course he was capable of making his own eye and arm, he ran a gun company for crap’s sake. “That’s…that’s incredible sir!”
She hesitated.
“I-I mean, I’m sorry to hear you lost the former in an accident, sir. Would it be rude to inquire what happened?”
He paused for a moment, being silent now as he looked at his arm. He was inspecting it, moving the fingers and thinking about that day. “Well….” he sighed, “I had an AI in my head. He wasn’t the nicest guy…I mean, I trusted him with everything. But in the end he tried to kill me with my own arm. The only way to get rid of him was to take my arm off and pull out my cybernetics. It was painful as hell….But I got him out of me!”
And then he kept the eye and was planning on bringing him back. Ya, that wasn’t asking for trouble.
Addie winced at the thought, imagining for a moment what it must have felt like to rip out his cybernetics. She knew there was no way she could fully comprehend what he had gone through, her understanding of pain in only an abstract sense, but she couldn't imagine the whole moment had been entirely pleasant.
"I am sorry it had to come to that sir. I can assure you if I would never do such a thing if I was in your head," she replied solemnly with a curt nod. "If...if you don't mind me asking, and if you feel..uncomfortable answering I will understand, but...how did he get into your head in the first place?"
Why? Why had she asked that? She was being nosy and annoying, just like the techs had warned her not to be. Asking too many questions for her own damn good.
It was no wonder she'd been threatened by them to be dismantled.

“I mean, I know we can.. I just know its simpler to shove a dick in their mouth than talk with them..”
"Descriptive," she commented with a slight smirk before it faded a little. "Just because it's simple doesn't mean it's right, Jack."
She kissed his cheek gently.
"And I believe you can do it. Really."

“That’s the intention sir!” She replied brightly, happy he wanted her to stay. “Though it was a lot faster when I was fully integrated with the computers as a program.”
If she could she would have blanched at the thought.
“N-not that I don’t like this body!” She supplied quickly, her hands up in a placating gesture. “It’s great…except for the things I mentioned, of course…”
She found herself looking around his office as she crossed her arms a little, cataloging what she saw and automatically storing it.
Her eyes inevitably fell onto his metal arm and glowing eye, inspecting them for a moment only to come up with an error message.
“Sir, I don’t mean to pry, but…your ECHOeye and arm do not appear to match the Atlas catalogue. May…may I ask how you acquired them?”
There she went, being nosy again….
He smiled as he watched her go on about how it was faster to take things in when she was in a computer. That made sense. It was certainly faster for Jack when the man was on Helios over inside his systems.
Rhys was a little caught off guard when she spoke to him about his eye and arm. “Oh…uh, I actually made these two. I had ones previously but I…..They were destroyed in an accident. Took me a while to properly fit these two myself but that’s why it’s not a brand of any kind. My own personal make!”
"You made them?" She asked in wonderment before she chastised herself. Of course he was capable of making his own eye and arm, he ran a gun company for crap's sake. "That's...that's incredible sir!"

Jack sighed with a smile, using one of his hands to reach up and hold her face, “I guess..” he mumbled, smiling as he pulled her into a longer kiss.
She smiled against his mouth as they kissed, humming in contentment as she rested her hand on top of the one cupping her cheek.
"You guess?" She teased with a chuckle. "C'mon, where's your confidence? You don't think we could take them?"
"Do you know how beautiful you are?" The AI murmured, her words registering causing her to display the equivalent of a blush. "From a purely aesthetic point, of course." {ooc: hello!}

“Thank you,” She replied with a small grin before she composed herself. “Uhh, sir. It would be a great help to me if you did. And yes, other than the processing issues the body functions perfectly. I mean, sometimes there are issues of stiff mechanics, but nothing some oil can’t fix….and according to the techs it doesn’t seem to be stopping me from prodding into their business…”
She faltered.
“I mean, I don’t prod, I just….I make sure to stay out of their way if they request it sir, but I am interested in what they’re doing so I sometimes just….I think the word for it is linger?”
Like I’m doing now, she thought. Probably annoying him just like the techs. Great.
“Would you prefer if I left, sir? I mean, considering the work you have to do….”
“No, no. Please, stay,” he smiled. He was curious about he ability to learn like any AI should. She seemed curious about a lot of things. “So are you able to adapt things into your system? Learn new abilities or information based on the things you observe?”
He would put off his work for now to talk with her. It wasn’t like the project he was working on was even close to finishing and since it was a private project, he could take as much time as he needed to work on it.
"That's the intention sir!" She replied brightly, happy he wanted her to stay. "Though it was a lot faster when I was fully integrated with the computers as a program."

Jack smiled a little as he held her hand, kissing her forehead, “Alright.. I’ll probably get shot a lot more so be ready for that..”
She leaned in closer to him, running her thumb over the top of his hand.
"Meh, what's a few bullets against some badass androids?" She retorted with a grin, giving him a peck for good measure.

“No of course not.. I just.. I don’t know what else I can do Addie..” Jack sighed as he kissed her hand, “I’ve just always done it so.. It’s really hard to just suddenly find a new way of doing things..”
She smiled at him softly as he kissed her hand.
"You're intelligent, you'll figure something out," she said confidently. "And I'll be here to help you. I can promise you that."
Not like I can go anywhere else, she thought sadly.
"Do you know how beautiful you are?" The AI murmured, her words registering causing her to display the equivalent of a blush. "From a purely aesthetic point, of course." {ooc: hello!}
“Uhm….thank you, I guess?” He shifted slightly, crossing his arms.
4d1-exe :
“It’s…it’s adequate for its purposes, sir,” she replied before she elected to clarify what she meant. Rhys probably wouldn’t be pleased if she just left it at that, after all. “I mean, its basic functions are excellent. It’s just, well…my programming gets stalled at times because I can’t take in information as rapidly as I could while I was in the systems themselves. So sometimes I feel as if I’m, uhh, as you humans call it, ‘slow on the uptake’ at times. I don’t think the processor they have installed is sufficient for if I’m supposed to be rapidly adapting. Though the techs have been trying to help. Just today they corrected me that I’m supposed to call Hyperion ‘bastards’ and the other gun companies ‘lazy bitches’.”
She frowned a little.
“Though for some reason I’m skeptical of this information being accurate…..”
“It definitely is inadequate information…I’m sorry they’ve been telling you such things…” He’d have to have a word with the department. How annoying. “I’ll also look into updating your systems. I’m sorry they haven’t noticed the issue.” It wasn’t like it would be a hard thing to spot. Maybe he was overestimating the people he was working for him. He’d have to be more careful and watch them more closely.
“Aside from the slow uptake, does the body function properly?”
"Thank you," She replied with a small grin before she composed herself. "Uhh, sir. It would be a great help to me if you did. And yes, other than the processing issues the body functions perfectly. I mean, sometimes there are issues of stiff mechanics, but nothing some oil can't fix....and according to the techs it doesn't seem to be stopping me from prodding into their business..."

Jack nodded a little, reaching down and holding her hand. He sighed and rested his forehead on hers, “I.. I understand…” He mumbled, closing his eyes.
“I’ll stop..”
She noticed a slight hesitation in his voice and she gave him a small frown as he rested his forehead against hers.
"Do...do you /want/ to keep sleeping with these men?" She asked incredulously as she leaned back a little.
"Do you know how beautiful you are?" The AI murmured, her words registering causing her to display the equivalent of a blush. "From a purely aesthetic point, of course." {ooc: hello!}
“Uhm….thank you, I guess?” He shifted slightly, crossing his arms.

She frowned in disappointment before she nodded. She was almost tempted to pry further into what he meant by stating this new AI (well, new to her anyways) wouldn’t be ‘the most friendliest of people’ but she held back. Rhys was her boss, first and foremost, and if he deemed it that she shouldn’t interact with this AI then she had to respect his wishes.
She was a little surprised by his statement.
“Really, sir?” She asked with a small grin. “T-thank you. Like I said, I don’t know how much help I’d be, but I would be more than happy to assist you in whatever you need!”
She crossed her arms a little.
“Err, is there anything you need at the moment?” She asked hopefully, not keen to go back to the techs and their barrage of testing on her new body.
Rhys thought now and sat back in yes chair. “Actually, why don’t you tell me about your new body? How well it functions and what you think about it.” He needed to learn what he could improve on for Jack’s body. The man was going to be pissed when he came to, so Rhys just wanted to make sure the body was perfect, and then maybe there would be a little less killing.
"It's...it's adequate for its purposes, sir," she replied before she elected to clarify what she meant. Rhys probably wouldn't be pleased if she just left it at that, after all. "I mean, its basic functions are excellent. It's just, well...my programming gets stalled at times because I can't take in information as rapidly as I could while I was in the systems themselves.
