Least concern about this guy but why does he act like texas is a uniquely evil devil state. It sucks but it sucks because its america. Not to mention hes desperately trying to move to the fucking UK of all places as if theyre any better. He just genuiney has that weird classist/racist tumblr user hatred of the south and im so fucking tired. That post about a black guy rear ending him and hes like "heh. Im glad he hit ME and not ANYONE else in this backwards inbred evil fucking bigoted hick town. They wouldve lynched him" and hes talking about DALLAS. people act like cities in texas aren't the most diverse and accepting parts of the state. like, i would sort of get it if he lived out in the middle of nowhere, but aren't places and like dallas and austin pretty criticised for being liberal or whatever? my grandmas live in texas, and they're lesbian, and haven't faced discrimination there since like '15. the UK is not doing too hot, and he'd know that if he researched it for 5 minutes instead of teabooing.
you're spot on though, it's definitely rooted in privilege, and also classism and racism. he genuinely just wants to be the most oppressed person in the country.
