I still can't believe I get to say that.
What started as a random Tumblr acquaintance turned into the love of my life. And now she's my wife.
How crazy is that? 🥹
It's funny to think about how much has changed over the years. Some of you have been here from the very beginning. You've followed our journey, laughed with us, occasionally felt sorry for my poor bruised behind and watched our relationship grow into what it is today. Thank you for sticking around.
A few years ago, I was the quiet girl who was trying so hard to fit into a life that never really felt like mine. Stuck in a heterosexual relationship, because I thought that was what I was supposed to do.
Now I finally get to be me.
And a huge part of that is because of Kara.
Having a demanding career and always being the one expected to stay strong, I rarely get the chance to simply let go. Kara changed that. She understands me in a way that allows me to surrender completely. Not because I'm weak, but because I trust her completely. That's where I found confidence, strength, and a kind of happiness I never expected.
She's my wife, my Domme, my biggest supporter, and the person who makes me feel safe enough to be completely myself.
With Kara by my side I feel like I can do anything.
And somehow I ended up marrying the most beautiful, funniest and strongest woman I know.
Our wedding was everything we had hoped for. After a year and a half of planning, seeing it all come together was honestly surreal. It was full of love, laughter, happy tears and so many wonderful people. We wouldn't change a thing. It was truly PERFECT.
Right now we're enjoying our honeymoon, still catching ourselves looking at each other and saying, "We're actually married."
It still doesn't feel real.
To my wife @ladykaradommegirl: Thank you for loving me exactly as I am. Thank you for helping me become the person I always wanted to be. Thank you for believing in me on the days I couldn't believe in myself.
I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.
