I wanted to say a few words about the current situation with Enhypen.
I know that many of my words might sound parasocial, but I don’t really care. It’s how I feel, and if you don’t like it, you can just skip this post.
I’ve been following the boys since i-land, and back then it was the best thing that happened to me. I spent every week thinking about it, voting, and caring about the boys dreams. Since it was during the pandemic, when everyone was at home 24 hours a day, it felt like the biggest event happening in my life. At the time I was a 13 or 14 years old, so I basically grew up listening to and following Enhypen. Out of all the groups I’ve ever known, they are the most special to me.
During i-land, the first ones who caught my attention were K, Jake, Riki, and Heeseung. The first time I saw Heeseung singing and dancing, it was like something clicked in my head and I just knew he would become my favorite. And that stayed true for six years, since Heeseung has been my bias.
I’ve gone through very difficult moments in my life, and something that always calms me down is music. Enhypen’s songs have been the ones that fulfilled that role the most. Listening to the boys voices, seeing moments of the seven of them happy and having fun also made me happy. Because of that, I developed such a special affection for them, and what happened hurts me a lot. It really does. I spent the whole day feeling sick thinking about all of this.
I know that Enhypen has six other members, but Heeseung is also an important part of the group, and leaving just like that out of nowhere is honestly scary.
I’ve already been through another situation like this that everyone knows about Riize and it was really hard too. I still can’t follow Riize without thinking, “what would it be like if Seunghan were there too?” And now that something similar is happening with Enhypen, it’s going to be even harder for me to keep following them, because they’re my favorite group in all of K-pop.
I know many people say we should respect the decision, but this feels like a very abrupt decision with no plausible explanation. Honestly, I can’t see any of the members making a decision like this completely on their own, and I feel like there’s something more that the company is hiding.
To me, this looks like a terrible situation for the members, and especially for Heeseung. I saw how hard he fought to get into the group, so deciding to leave like this just doesn’t make sense. Because of that, I honestly believe the company pressured him or forced him out.
So I ask that if this is true and he’s suffering an injustice, we need to make sure this awful company doesn’t destroy his dreams.

And if this really was his own decision, then we have to accept it with heavy hearts and a lot of sadness.
So somethings happened. I’m still keeping Heeseung under Enhypen on my Masterlist, and when I write future Fan Fictions about Enha, he’s still going to be mentioned in them. That includes OT7.
I just don’t have the heart to change anything…
I honestly think this wasn’t fully Heeseung decision but I’ll still support him.
So I hope you enjoy my future scheduled fan fictions.
And when the time is right I’ll write about Heeseung again.
idc if someone calls me parasocial but it makes me so fucking anxious to even think about what happened and what’s happening esp when we don’t know anything, how did it come to this? how did the members react? was it actually in talks or it happened overnight? i have no words and things aren’t adding up
if this was purely heeseung’s decision then i respect it, i wish the absolute best for him and ill always support him like i have since the day one of iland, but if this is belift’s doing and he was given an ultimatum then istg i hope that whole fucking building burns down i js want my seven to be safe and happy

Sometime ago Belift posted the official notice about heeseung leaving ENHYPEN on X, Heeseung also wrote a post on weverse showing his gratitude towards engenes and saying a final goodbye. From his post we understand he want to release his own solo songs. But that could be done even by being in the group, so many kpop groups have done this, millions of them. We feel Belift forced heeseung to leave the group as he wanted to produce his own music. They don't want any member having a solo career while being in the group for their own selfish reasons. Heeseung would never leave the group on his own seeing how much he loves engenes, he wrote songs like blossom, highway 1009 for engenes, these prove his love for us. Recently he has been seen looking very upset and depressed. I'm sure it's because of Belift. I request the engenes who live in Korea to find out the reality and once we are sure Belift did this then let's start sending protest trucks, boycotting belift and whatever we can to bring Heeseung back. If its found that is heeseung's own decision then let's support him!! What we have been told is just a cover story but we need to know the truth!! We deserve to know the truth!! Pls engenes let's support each other and contribute in any way we can to stop Belift and bring Heeseung back!!
