U-blox donated medical company 4G module
The global wireless module and chip leading supplier u-blox company announced that as part of the present stage of corporate social responsibility initiative, the company has donated 500 4G modules to a Norway company called "No Isolation".
NO Isolation is a network of health care companies, the first to those who suffer from disease and must be hospitalized for a long period of time or stay at home, the child developed a robot.
Their robot AV1, which can represent the children to participate in school activities, travel or birthday party, so that these children can also participate in daily activities.
By virtue of the 4G module, AV1 can transmit audio and video anywhere. As long as there are 4G network coverage, the child's parents, teachers and friends will not have to connect AV1 and Wi-Fi. The robot will automatically connect to the 4G, and it can be controlled by the child. With a camera, a microphone and speakers, the robot can send a video stream to the child's mobile phone or tablet PC, so that they can see and hear the situation around the stand in real time. In addition, the child can talk with the robot in a normal voice, and determine the direction of its line of sight.
