my least favourite thing about tumblr is the mentality of conpeting against each other about whos more gay and whos more mentally ill

there are so many people on here who think theyre better than others for being more gay, the same people who think bisexuals and cishet aros-aces dont belong in the lgbtq communites

and it ties into the glamorisation of mental illness - people think theyre better than neurotypicals because they have a mental illness, which makes people (especially the young impressionable 12 and 13 year olds on here) think theyre worth more if theyre mentally ill

tldr; people that are blatantly rude to straight people or neurotypical people just because theyre not gay or mentally ill are really fucking shitty people
