I wonder if we'd get any backstory for MC or if MC even has a backstory. All I know is that MC really likes music, has family and friends (according to the choices provided from the story)
I could imagine her being happy while listening to her favorite band last performance cuz it's gonna disband idk I'm too lazy to read the prologue (โ ;โ ลโ ๏นโ ลโ ) but, then of course the kyklos behind her.... Oh! And the other version of her turning into a kyklos:D

You know what? Darkwick described the Anomaly Curse as a sickness, and their medical faculty exists to help people cure this "illness." That makes me wonder if the curse is not actually a sickness at all, but rather a way for anomalies to coexist with humans.
We know that before ghouls make a pact with demons, they can be human or not. Tbh, I'm still unsure about Ed's case because I don't know whether he became a ghoul before being turned into a vampire or afterward, so I cannot really say much about him. But generally speaking, ghouls are technically human before all of that.
When humans make a pact with a demon and then die, it is often described almost like an allergic reaction. Their bodies and health cannot overcome the change so they die.
However, the humans who survive become ghouls. It is almost as if they are immune or they can adapt well to the "illness."
When they are described as "no longer human," at least figuratively, they become anomalies. But doesn't that mean they are already capable of coexisting with humans? Not necessarily in a social sense, but in the sense that they are still human in flesh and bone while possessing anomalous abilities. Isn't that already a form of coexistence?
They do not have to coexist with anyone or anything because they ARE the coexistence themselves.
I have always viewed the demons who make pacts with ghouls as a type of apostle. They were sent by the Lord, the same Lord that Kyklos refers to when MC encounters her again.
Their goal is to find a way for humans and anomalies to coexist and live together. However, not all of them succeed, and not every ghoul follows the same philosophy. Likewise, many anomalies do not share the same beliefs either.
For example, Towa and Lyca could be considered anomalies even before becoming ghouls. Yet they are still able to live alongside humans in some way and continue learning how to adapt. The same can be said for Shion.
Ed, on the other hand, does not necessarily feel the same way.
So perhaps these "apostles" were sent to find a path toward coexistence, but some failed in their mission.
Now that I think about it, this could explain why the ghouls say there is a spy and traitor among them.
What if this traitor follows the concept of Jesus' apostles, where one of them eventually betrayed him?
We always assume the traitor is working against us and serving the Lord because we do not know who the Lord is, and because the traitor seems to be sabotaging the "harmony" among the ghouls.
But what if the person the traitor actually betrayed was the Lord himself?
What if his philosophy no longer aligned with the Lord's philosophy, whether for good or bad reasons?
I think whoever this Lord is, he is definitely trying to find a way for humans and anomalies to coexist. However, he may be attempting to do it in a very destructive way, by forcing the two worlds to collide regardless of the consequences.
If you remember the prologue, there is a narrative about humans gathering around fire and using light to chase away the darkness. Yet some people continue staring into the void, venturing to the edge of the darkness until they discover a world where they do not belong.
What if the traitor betrayed the Lord because he does not want those two worlds to collide?
Perhaps he does not believe humans and anomalies can coexist, so he tries to sabotage the Lord's plan.
Personally, I think humans and anomalies can coexist, but it would take time and tremendous effort.
You cannot force two worlds together overnight. And I think that is exactly what this Lord is trying to do.
This could explain Rinfone and the opening of the Gate of Hell.
When you force something unnatural to happen, it disrupts everything. It messes up the entire universe.
That could be why we have timeloops and alternate timelines. The constant collision between the two worlds keeps turning everything upside down. Time and space become distorted, and it even starts affecting people's minds.
To prevent the Lord's plan from succeeding, the traitor would have to sabotage every relationship and every balance the ghouls have built with one another.
If you all remember clearly, MC says something in the very first chapter of Episode 1:
"If I'd known it was going to end like this, I wouldn't have fallen for them in the first place..."
Why would she say that?
Possibility (1)
The Lord forbids her from loving the ghouls. But she does, not necessarily romantically, but she comes to love them as people.
As lives. As individuals. As humans. As anomalies. And as something beyond both.
She comes to understand that coexistence between humans and anomalies cannot be achieved through force.
Because she is naturally kind, she cannot accept the Lord's philosophy of coercion. As a result, she betrays the Lord.
This causes his wrath. The timelines begin breaking apart, and the timeloops begin.
The Lord is punishing both MC and the apostles for opposing his philosophy.
Possibility (2)
If she had never loved the ghouls, none of this would have happened.
Maybe nobody would have been punished. Maybe the world would not have fallen apart. Maybe she should have simply obeyed and allowed the Lord to claim her.
In the prologue, one of the dialogue options is something along the lines of:
"We can escape together."
It almost sounds like an elopement.
If MC is already the Lord's Bride and somehow falls in love with one of the apostles, that could itself be considered betrayal.
So what if the traitor is actually MC?
What if she fragmented her soul and scattered it across different places and timelines? What if she has been trying to help the ghouls across countless timelines but keeps failing because the Lord continuously sends Kyklos to interfere?
Kyklos is the guide. And anyone who remains loyal to the Lord may actually be supervising MC rather than helping her.
The Lord needs MC to bring the worlds together. That is why the ghouls are also tasked with protecting her. Because she is the key.
She is the hope that can either save the world or bring about the Lord's vision of coexistence.
The Deadly in Love Connection: What If the MC's Card Was Swapped?
Connecting this to the latest episode, Deadly in Love.
A lot of people have been theorizing that someone may have swapped the MC's Goddess card with another card.
The biggest reason this theory exists is because every card is blank. Nobody can properly see it.
And because it is blank, even the MC herself would have no way of knowing whether it had been switched.
So what if her Goddess card was replaced with a Rogue card?
At first glance, that sounds terrible because "rogue" immediately makes people think of betrayal. However, throughout this theory, I have mentioned that being a traitor is not necessarily a bad thing.
Everything depends on: Who you serve. What your motives are. What philosophy you believe in.
If the MC is a Rogue, perhaps it is not because she is evil. Perhaps it is because she refuses to blindly follow any side. In fact, she could become a traitor for the exact same reason I believe the original traitor did.
Perhaps her role is not to carry out the Lord's plan exactly as he intended. Perhaps her role is to prove him wrong.
This also makes me think about the myth of Hades and Persephone.
In the original myth, Hades falls in love with Persephone and takes her to the Underworld. Some stories portray it as a tragic love story between two beings who belong to different worlds.
What if TKDB is doing something similar? What if the Lord is an anomaly who genuinely loves MC?
MC may or may not love him in return.However, the fundamental problem remains the same.
Their worlds were never meant to collide and there is a barrier between them.
In that sense, the Lord's obsession with bringing the worlds together becomes much more personal.
Maybe he is not only trying to unite humans and anomalies. Maybe he is trying to reach the one person he cannot have. And because of that, he becomes willing to do anything, no matter the consequences.
