More comprehensive background checks, including criminal history, mental health, etc. Also safety courses, gun registries and a mandatory waiting period. Instead of being able to just go to a gun store and easily fill out a form, or going to a gun show and not even doing that, police can track who buys guns and determine if they are fit to own one. Semi-automatic rifles and other similar assault rifles should also be banned, what normal civilian would need such a weapon?

Honestly just look at the systems in places like Canada. Although America’s gun problems have a lot to do with culture and their Constitutional right to bear arms, which are much harder to change.

Hogwarts Houses part 2

So does your personality affect which hogwarts house you put in or does your hogwarts house affect the development of your personality? Both. At 11 though, your personality could be wildly different from what it is at 17, and hogwarts houses could potentially shape personalities in an unbalanced way. What exactly is the point of hogwarts houses?

tbh hogwarts houses make no sense. Why divide students according to arbitrarily chosen personality traits? Especially during times of war, unity between all is more important. People in general tend to work better with people who have different personalities anyways. The real world isn’t divided into four, whether wizarding or muggle community, so why is hogwarts? Do any of the other magic schools have houses? Durmstrang? Beauxbatons? No. And that’s not even talking about any of the extremely negative stereotypes...
