Adie The Apprentice (The last name missing) Adie is an idle magician, and one often sees him smoking with a pipe. Though seemingly unreliable, he is in fact a powerful magician. They were there with Adie when he died. On the eve of the masquerade ball, the symptoms of red malaria begin to show on them. They lay in bed thinking that this was their end at one point, but when they woke up the next day, the symptoms subsided. And the rest is history…
