Horaru and Ruka!
who holds the umbrella when it rains: Ruka, of course. His job description as a boyfriend definitely entails being a servant as well. But then again let’s not forget the possibility that Hotaru might have invented a duck-shaped umbrella that doesn’t require holding.
who is the grumpiest in the morning: Ruka sometimes wake up by being hit by a baka gun when he tries to snake up his arms around Hotaru’s waist as a good morning hug. Yep, firing her close-range baka gun is Hotaru’s way of saying good morning.
who worries more when the other is sick/hurt: They both worry but when I think about it, Ruka probably worries more when Hotaru is sick/hurt. I’d like to assume he’s a veterinarian now so he’s savvy when it comes to wounds/diseases because he’s a doctor. That’s why he knows better the medical complications of Hotaru getting hurt/sick. Ugh I can’t explain my reasoning I hope you got my drift.
who plays pranks on the other: We all know that Hotaru is the master pranker since their elementary days. She never stopped taking Ruka’s embarrassing photos and blackmailing him with them. Although little does Ruka know that the said photos are stashed in the deepest past of Hotaru’s closet instead of selling in the market.
who is always the first to suggest cuddling on the sofa: Surprisingly, Hotaru likes to cuddle so she’s the one who initiates it most of the time (when they’re alone). Ruka is too scared to make the first move when the deluxe baka gun is just sitting beside Hotaru.
who insists on creating nicknames for the other: Ruka thinks Hotaru’s name is beautiful as it is, that’s why never dared to call her anything but that. On the other hand, do Nogi count as a nickname? Because I imagine Hotaru calling Ruka by his surname even in their twenties.
who drools on the other when they’re asleep: Ruka drools while he dreams of dancing with his beloved animals and whatnot. I mean, a happy dream leaves your mouth hanging open with saliva dripping right? Fortunately, Hotaru finds it cute so Ruka is saved from being woken up by a baka gun. Rather, he’d be woken up by a flash of camera.
who says ‘I love you" first: Hotaru does. But it’s more like an action that speak louder than words. It starts off with Ruka choking with the words ‘I love you’ with beads of sweat dripping and face flushing bright red so Hotaru takes control by pulling Ruka’s collar and kissing him senseless.
