Had a great time with motivating the youth at Kareem Huggins’ 6th Annual NFL USA Football Camp. Latest episode of “All In A Day with Jen From BK”
Great times on the Queens Of New York Rock The Yacht Party. Surrounded by beautiful strong women!
Fabulista.
The accolades are stacking up & I'm gonna keep posting them up bc it took me almost 10 years of grinding & dedication to start receiving them. And there ain't nothing wrong with sharing your successes if you've worked your ass off to get them. On that note, honored to have received the Global Innovator of Excellence Award today at the Kareem Huggins 6th Annual NFL USA Football...THANK YOU Triple SSS Entertainment. I never really shared my philanthropy with the public before but I think it's time I start to (not for bragging rights) but to hopefully inspire some of you to give back to too. "Spread love its the Brooklyn way" & I'm going to keep doing that! Stay tuned, I have a big announcement coming soon... 🏉💁🏼🏆 #brooklyn #global #worldwide #sorrynotsorry #nevergiveup #nevernotworking 📸: @marinhamataj
Fun night! @hennessyus
Happy Fourth of July. ⭐️🇺🇸🚢⭐️ #july4th @ 📸: @marinhamataj
Angela (Lela Loren) of STARZ' Power calls into my show and talks about the crazy season finale, 50 Cent and who would win in a fight, Angie or Tasha? lol
I hosted the "Unclassified" Reebok Classic Leather event in Brooklyn and it was so much fun! I even had a pair of customized kicks that I wore at Summer Jam made by sneaker customizing extraordinaire MACHE.
Check out when I went to visit my little sisters at the The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon before their big performance!
Brooklyn's princess T'yanna Wallace is taking her father's legacy and turning it into her very own empire....Biggie would be so proud.
The Pennsylvania native who moved back to her father's hometown after graduating from Penn State, is not taking what Notorious B.I.G means to BK for granted. In fact, she heard stories about him all her life and realized how important he was to the borough when she decided to uproot her life and move into Bed-Stuy.
T'yanna is using the love and respect people have for her legendary father as inspiration. But, she's using a different vessel outside of music to declare her pride through Notoriouss. Her clothing line features images of Biggie and lines from his verses like "Moschino hoe, Versace hottie". With the business bug in her genes (something her dad had too), she's going to open a flagship store in Brooklyn with hopes of expanding it all the way to the West Coast.
T'yanna is creating a lane for herself but paying homage to her dad every step of the way. Though he passed when she was just a baby, she explains that she feels she knows him very well from all the stories told about him through people like Lil Cease, her mother, Faith Evans, people from the neighborhood and more. While others say she's a spitting image of her dad.
To us he's one of the greatest rappers of all time, but to her, he was a great man who loved to laugh and do pranks.
Watch as we talk about B.I.G's legacy, who he was as a person, her goals, play This or That and you know I had to ask her about this Summer Jam 20 years B.I.G tribute.
There is nothing I love more than seeing the youth pursue their dreams and completely break the stereotype that you have to wait until you’re older to do it.
By watching Ladies First, I hope young girls/women out there are truly inspired and feel confident and ambitious enough to get up and go after their truest passions and dreams.
Just like DJ’s Amira and Kayla who are just 10 years old out here doing incredible things, is Staten Island native Jayla Marie.
Jayla Marie, who was the youngest star/contestant on legendary Jermaine Dupri and Queen Latifiah’s “The Rap Game”, is making waves at just 12 years old. On the second season of the reality TV competition show, she was just an 11 year old going up against people in their late teens and older vying for the record deal! She’s also delve deep into philanthropy helping the less fortunate by parterning up with World Star Hip Hop. She recorded her first song at 3 years old, yes 3 and even got features from toda’ys biggest hop hip artists, where some are dreaming to get. Fabolous, LL Cool J and more have co-signed the young firecracker and Nas even said “the world was hers” after hearing a remix of his classic record “If I Ruled The World” where Jayla rapped about confidence and bullying.
Jayla Marie is a certified superstar on Musically (the app), garners hundreds of thousands of views on Youtube and her social following combined is over a million!
She’s just in the beginning stages of her career so to see what she’ll be doing when she gets older will be something to see. I’m sure her legions of fans will follow her journey along the way and they are by the hundreds of thousands.
Take a look behind the scenes at what I do on the scene and behind the scenes!
Some of my sunglasses ads will look like this when I have my own line. Adding that to the bucket list bc you know how much I love shades! ✅🕶 #NYC . . . 📸: @marinhamataj
Swin Cash is an icon, a legend, one of the greatest WNBA players of all time and I had the honor of sitting down with her for the latest episode of Ladies First.
I've been looking for a female athlete to feature on my show and she more than fits the bill.
Besides her incredible career which includes an Olympic Gold Medal, 3 WNBA Championships, 2 National Titles during her days at UCONN (a superstar team at the time in itself), Swin is accomplishing huge fetes since retiring from the game of basketball last year.
She was hired by the NY Liberty as the Director of Franchise Development, taking her talents and experience from the court to the front office. Expect a new and improved NY Liberty team, more community based events, more exposure to the amazing basketball team who currently has three hometown players on their roster.
Why aren't we showing them more love?!
Swin and I also spoke about the WNBA franchise as whole and the changes that need to be made to give the league more attention.
But coming out strong, after retirement and a cancer scare, now pregnant and the boss lady at NY Liberty, Swin has a whole new journey ahead of her, beyond her basketball career and that's taking the NY Liberty to another level.
Watch as we talk about it and play This or That where I put her on the spot about one of the biggest debates of all time, who's better Kobe Bryant or Michael Jackson?
