âI could spend 15 minutesâ¨choosing an outfit, or read a â¨menu twice and still not knowâ¨what to order. You know Iâm â¨never sure on anything. But Iâ¨was so fucking sure on you.â
Luke looked like Iâd just punched him in the chest and ripped out his heart - he finally understood how I felt. His eyes were hollow - heâd barely slept and heâd cried a lot, but that didnât change anything.
âI... I mean... I didnât... I donât know what to say.â
âThereâs nothing you can say.â I sighed, the tightness in my chest just worsening, rather than letting go and giving me the closure I hoped this conversation would.
âNothing? No chance at all?â He breathed, his words barely more than a whisper.
âLuke you canât sleep with another girl, tell me I didnât even cross your mind then expect me to trust you again.â
âI was blackout drunk-â
âThat doesnât change anything.â
He made me feel like the bad guy.Â
âYou deserve better.â He whimpered.
