Don't blame yourself for anything. You were one of my first friends here, so I never felt... ignored, or unwelcomed. Besides, who could blame you for inactivity? You have more important things to worry about. Whatever drove me away had nothing to do with you.

There was only so much I could do with this blog before I got tired of it, anyway. Nothing of worth was lost.

This will be my final post.

I'll be closing this account today, for several reasons. To put it simply: tumblr isn't my thing. If you need a more in-depth reason, I guess you can message me.

In case you're wondering, no, I will not be deleting this blog. Asks will also stay open, so if you'd like to contact me, go ahead? Though I doubt anyone will. What's the point, right? I left quite a few things undone, but... I see no reason to work on them. No motivation, nothing to gain from it either.

I started writing here what's bugging me. But you know what? I shouldn't. It's just petty on my part.

So I'm gonna do what I told myself that I'd do.

And then that'll be that, and I'll be done.

 That look should say it all.     Can’t blame him —his butt feels weird. &; forgive him if he mumbles something about     “—Bad manners…”      At his age he would’ve been instantly reprimanded      for anything like that, not that he’d ever gotten      anywhere close.

Oh ho, bad manners, huh? This adult never learns! So the child smiles up at him before hugging the man around the waist.

"It's okaaay, misteer~", he assures him, as one of his hands lightly checks Ollie's pockets for some gil.

     ”Wow, you’re a thief?” Luneth couldn’t help but chuckle. He himself hated to be underestimated for his age, but this boy couldn’t have been older than five. With a nod, he decided to humor the child. “What kind of monster should we steal from, then? A Goblin? Carbuncle?”

Honestly, he was thinking of going inside people's houses or just try to snatch someone's gold pouch, but stealing from monsters? That was new and exciting!

"Wha-- what's a carbuncle? Haha, I wanna see them all!"

     ”Mister? Sheesh, do I really look that old to you? Sure thing! I’ve only got one rule though, no destroying any property. Topapa’ll kill me and I’ll have to clean it up too.”

He shrugs. To a 5 year old, anyone over 10 years is old.

"Okay! How 'bout stealing, though? We don't have to break anything to do that!"

     ”Lindblum…? Never heard of that village, ya must have come a long way. But anyway, it’s good to meetcha Zidane! I’m Luneth.”

Wait, how did he say his name again? Lu...nes? Lunet? ...Oh well!

"Uh, okay mister! So, can we go make some noise now?"

     ”Well, you’ve got the noisy part down for sure! Heya I don’t think you’re one of the village kids… What’s your name, buddy?”

"I'm Zidane! I'm not from here, I'm from Lilum!", he pauses, thinking about what he just said, "I mean, Lindblum!"

     ”It’s too quiet! How’s about we make some noise?”

"But if you're quiet, no one will know you're there and you can do all sorta things!", he says in a loud voice, tail swaying behind him.

Summer Friendship

Vivi gasped and snatched his hand away, using it to pull down the brim of his hat to hide his fame, embarrassed.

"S-sorry!," he squeaked, properly chastened . Despite what now looked like a horribly impolite thing to do (Vivi himself didn’t like it when people tried to touch him without warning, so he should have known better to do the same to someone else!), the boy didn’t seem particularly angry, so Vivi attempted to patch his gaffe.

"I-it’s nice. Y-you know, your tail." Okay, so maybe that wasn’t the most brilliant thing to say.

"W-what’s your name? My n-name is Vivi." Better. (He really needed to work on his social skills.)

Hmm, good! The other boy seemed to understand the rules. And he even complimented his tail! His new friend was great. So the genome grinned at him to introduce himself.

"I'm Zidane!", he announced proudly.

"Your name's cool, too, Vivi!", he added, complimenting both of their names at the same time. The child was happy his new friend's name was easy to say, unlike the name of the group he was a part of-- Tantalus? Took him forever to remember that! Not to mention pronounce it correctly...
