event #001; fourth of july festival

hey guys !! so, for our first event, we wanted to do something pretty laid back and festive, and fourth of july is right around the corner !! this is a simple as simple gets, but will be fun nonetheless !!

so thanks to one of our lovely admins, we already know what is expected at a fourth of july festival in gatlinburg, and it’s an event like this that allows for some great opportunities to para, headcannon, and get your chara’s on the tl !! here are some of the things one can expect to see at the festival:

200 ft. tall ferris wheel

petting zoo

sparklers handed at the door

carnival games

food stands/bbq ( lemonade, hot dogs, etc )

children’s playground

fireworks 

bring your lawn chairs and blankets !! the event will start on sunday, july 3rd 2016, at around 12 pm cst, and will end at around 11 pm cst. the firework show begins @ 8pm cst. whatever happens before, during, or after the event is up to you !!

we encourage everyone to interact with each other on the timeline by tweeting throughout the day as to what shenanigans your character is getting up to, as well as plot, headcannon, and para with everyone. please make sure to include everyone in some way !! we want this to be as much fun for everyone as possible.

also a friendly reminder that any semi-major plots need to be run by both of the admins before they occur so we can approve of them. and if you won’t be online during some of the event because you’ll be celebrating the holiday in real life, let us know !!
